Gtfo. His entire 2019 stats were empty calories because they were losing every game after week 3 going into the 3rd or 4the quarter so they became super pass heavy. This is the double standard SAS/Max have. Matt Stafford for example had many seasons of throwing empty calorie stats and he religiously said that he doesnt deserve to be the highest paid QB. Man Wentz earned his deal, the sole reason we got the Bye in our super bowl year, can back early & was winning with a broken back, & most importantly he proved it last year by have a great TF-INT ratio, 4000 passing yard, & making it to the playoffs with Walmart employees at the helm.
I love me some Cowboys and I want nothing more than a Super Bowl run but I have never been sold on Dak. Good not great
- Jason Garrett was the head coach - If you want to know what this means, watch the game against the Vikings and Bills. Dak was SHREDDING that secondary and what does Jason Garrett do when he gets them inside the redzone from inside his own 10 yd line with the game on the line? Take the ball out of his hands. In the Bills game Zeke had 50 yards IN THE FIRST QUARTER and what does JG do? Take the ball out of his hands; he had 12 carries the entire game and was averaging almost 6 yds per carry. He's a mediocre coach, period. Give him the Chiefs or the Ravens and he'll find a way to go 8-8.
- The defense AGAIN ranked towards the bottom in total takeaways ( i believe they ranked 26th)
- The Special Teams unit was ranked dead last almost the entire season
- They also finished the season tied for 1st with 36 dropped passes ( Before anyone says " Dak isn't accurate tho" he finished 7th in percentage of passes thrown on target with 77%)
The fact that Dallas had a 1,300 yd rusher, TWO 1,000 yd WR's, and a QB who threw for almost 5,000 yards and 30 TDs ( and before idiots start shouting "garbage time", only 14% of Dak's passing yards came in what were considered garbage time. When you divide that amount of yards and look at his ypg average it spreads out over just 2 games) should tell you exactly where the blame should lie, COACHING.
He should be paid but it makes sense because of the coach, they want to see if it’ll work or not
