Nikola had great season last year, played two 7 games series and on top of that he played entire summer and entire world cup unlike any other player in NBA, so im also riding with Jokic.
Facts. Dude averaged 25, 13 and 8.5 assists with the same body type in the playoffs 🤦♂️ now Will Barton is playing without injuries as well as Jamal Murray being much more aggressive so 2 starters taking significant jumps is all you need to explain why Jokic’s stats dropped..

Fundings GT exactly. Jokic is just a team guy and Denver has one of the deepest teams in the league... I think Jamal being more aggressive could be beneficial but Jokic has to still be aggressive too for them to be the best they can be. If they had a guy putting up the stats he had in the playoffs as well as Murray being a 20+ per game a scorer they’d really be tough to beat in my opinion...

Everyone forgets that he played almost the same last season, until january that's when Jokic exploded, so let's wait and see, I have no doubt he will get better as season goes on

Yeah. He needs to be aggressive. Do you think he’s pulling a kawahi and laod managing during the reg season since his team is so deep but will turn it up in the playoffs? Or is he just playing bad and unagressive unitentianally?
4 yeah he needs to be more aggressive like in the playoffs but I don’t think he’s load managing lol. The nuggets just have a deep roster and like the other commenter said, he’s letting other guys do their thing. Will Barton was playing through injuries all of last year and looks like a completely different guy now. I’d guess he’s easily improved his scoring by about 5 points and has been rebounding like a monster too. Jamal Murray is also being so much more aggressive, so 2 players improving in their starting lineup would be a pretty solid explanation for Jokic’s stats dropping off a bit. That’s just his personality. But I really think the nuggets would be better if he chose to be more aggressive and also let other player get their shine. There can be a happy medium but he hasn’t seemed to find it yet. Hopefully he can learn to be more aggressive and dominant because that would really allow his team to excel in my opinion

He took the ball down the court the majority of the time last year. Malone is trying to force Murray and Jokic to improve their game by putting them in situations they aren't good at. Murray has always been a SG playing PG, Jokic has alway been a PG playing C. It all worked amazing last year, why change it?

Joker's underpermance is primarily on the coach. The ball in not in his hands anymore and that is why we no longer see his magic touches for easy open shots for teammates. Plus joker was never fit anyways😄

The problem’s not the coach, the problem is Denver being 23rd in fg% and 24th in 3 point %. They got too many guys struggling. Paul Milsap has been the only reliable efficient scorer. They’re still 2nd in the west though, and if they can get their guys to start hitting shots like they did last year they’ll be scary especially with the way they’ve stepped it up on D this year
Jokic looks extremely out of shape and slow for a center lol. Of all the centers in the NBA, he doesn't look like a center. Honestly he looks like he play a tight end, a guard, or a tackle in the NFL with his body shape.

Lakers have a top 5 defense wym they need defense. They missing their best perimeter defender that shuts down guards Avery. Wait till he’s back then lakers can go back to sending waves of defensive guards at ppl. Avery, kcp, Danny, Caruso all good defenders that can force offensive players to the 3 shot blocking bigs on the team. All that with lebron playing passing lanes whose been getting break away dunks every game now and he can switch onto bigs and guards. Lakers are dynamic defensively although they need to be more disciplined at guarding the 3pt line. Only thing this lakers team is missing is a consistent scorer off the bench like a Jamal Crawford. Kuz is up and down and he’s not a shot creator he scores off cutting and spot up shooting.
The clippers aren’t well rounded on defense like the lakers because clippers interior defense is trash Harrell plays hard but he’s 6’7. Not gonna work against big teams like the bucks and philly. Clippers can only defend the perimeter. Lakers can defend the perimeter and they are the best shot blocking team in the league because they have Ad, Dwight and McGee who can guard the paint and can hold their ground when they switch onto guards

Long season left. Barely lost to the lakers on a terrible game shooting and Jokic not playing good. If Jokic is on the nuggets are very scary.
