There's no Patriots anymore
It's hard to be a dynasty. It's a fun conversation to have, sure, but it's very hard to do all the same. Think about all the squads that had dynasty potential, and fell short:
- Wilson's Seahawks lost a chance to go back to back
- Rodgers' Packers have been close several times, but keep falling short
- Flacco's Ravens went to three AFC Championship games in five years
- Peyton's Colts only made it twice
- Warner's Rams ran into the start of the Patriots
- Favre's Packers also lost a chance to go back to back
- Ditka's Bears never made it back after 1985
- Stabler's Raiders kept running into the Steelers
There were a lot of really good teams that couldn't become dynasties. The Chiefs are an easy choice, but there's no guarantee they achieve that level.

I agree but it depends on which route Matthieu Kelce and dee others go in terms of team friendly deals over maximizing profit. As long as they can continue to draft cheap talent though with a certain core they can maintain what they have going

That would be a total of 12 playoff appearances, 10 division titles, 10 AFC Championship appearances, 5 Super Bowl appearances, 4 Super Bowl wins and 4 MVPs in his first 14 years starting

Think about it the Chiefs resigned all these players WITH JUST $177 IN CAP SPACE, WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO THE NEXT 3 SEASONS WHEN THEY ACTUALLY HAVE REAL MONEY TO SPEND BEFORE MAHOMES CAP STARTS TO GO UP.

How about you try to make the playoffs next year and maybe the championship round- then who knows? I love this Chiefs team - they look great - but, you are getting WAY ahead of yourselves with any talk of dynasty. At this point you got ONE SB, maybe try not to go "one and done" like so many GREAT teams do while they talk a good talk- try to walk the walk for another 2 or 3 SB's - THEN you can start talking dynasty. Till then, STFU and play.
Years later, multiple super bowl championships behind your name make your marketability on endorsements and tv deals, etc. You take a monitary risk now by taking less, to turn that into millions and multiple millions worth of personal value later with championship rings.

These players that have taken less than their worth has never hurt another free agent, ever. And when the Seahawks won that SB, Wilson wasn't a top 5 QB. He grew into that role. Nobody talked about the Seahawks being a dynasty. Rodgers got screwed by his own team. Brady didnt win a SB for 9 years. It wasn't 10. Plus they still went to 2, they just didn't win them. But they never went 10 years with at least playing for a title. Rob is calling somebody a fanboy is rich. I do agree with some of his takes but he is definitely always working off feelings. He is rarely if ever objective.
