If someone is better at a task, it is what it is. If a QB is faster, has a stronger arm, better accuracy at most levels, and can extend plays in more situations than another, they’re simply better. Whether or not their team is, is another conversation. If both Marino & Montana had 0 rings ppl would unanimously say Marino is better bc he is, and team quality is the only thing that would make someone say otherwise.

Brady doesn’t even throw the ball that far on average but even when he does Rodgers has higher graded ball placement in most instances including on the run. From 2010-2016, Aaron Rodgers was better than Brady. From 2017-Present, Brady is better than Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers is a far more athletic and physically capable QB. Tom Brady is a better leader, slightly better gamesman and comes from a better team culture in the New England Patriots. It's close, but I think Brady is a few ticks better than him currently.

Brady had less to work with, a 39 year old as his starting TE, injuries to 3 of his starting o lineman. 3 of his starting WRs came from week 9 onward without ever having a training camp to prepare with. Sanu came week 9 and nkeal harry week 15 both guys just thrown out there, and on top of that sanu was injured and had to have surgery right after the season ended, did i mention the pats went through 3 kickers? With all that being said rodgers only had 2 TDs more than brady? With brady having more passing yards idk what else to say. Deshaun watson is not an elite QB that narrative needs to stop. The top QBs right now are Wilson and mahomes. Lamar we'll have this year to see if it was just a 1 year wonder. Brady and rodgers are both better than brees, he just has far more help than they do.
Madden usually rates players on the prior season’s performance. No way I’m he’ll was he more accurate than Rodgers. It’s favoritisms that damage the game. Lamar Jackson only has 93 rating and he was the mvp, but that gave Gronk a 95 rating.
None of that has an impact on Speed, Arm Strength, and Accuracy etc. Either your better at those things or not.

Hearing these guys argue who is the best QB makes me wonder what their metric is to evaluate them. Is it arm talent, ability to read defenses, mobility, clutchness, locker room leadership? If we are considering the whole package, there has never been anyone nearly as good as Brady. Many have been better in singular areas, but no one has checked all the boxes the way he has.
Clutchness and Leadership isn’t apart of ratings because it can’t be measured through film, stats, or evaluation. They’re talking strictly what skills does the player have by themselves.

Imma just say it like this take Brady/Rodgers best game and worst game away and judge from that. Brady was 61% 22-7 to go with 2 rushing tds and 3,643 yards. Rodgers was 61% 21-3 to go along 1 rushing tds and 3,364 yards. Brady worst game was week 4 vs Buffalo . 18-39 150 yards and int. His best game week 2 with AB Gordon Edelman. 20-28 264 yards and 3 tds (1 rush TD). Rodgers worst game week 15 vs Bears. He was 16-33 203 yards and 1 td. His best game was week 7 vs Oakland. He was 25-31 429 yards 5 tds 0 int. So judge with that. Both qbs have been without the requisite weapons but Rodgers had a better o-line and rushing attack also Devante Adams was a better receiver than any New England had. Brady had the better defense but still attempted more passes and had more drops by his team. These are the facts and why Brady still has a slight edge over Rodgers

Rodgers had 55 less passing yards, 2 more passing TDs, 4 less INTs, QBR was +7 on Brady, had more combined yards if you add rushing, had a better record, and led his team farther in the playoffs
