1. There was still almost 8 minutes left of the game after the no dunk call
2. There was TWO overtime’s in which the Rockets ended up losing
3. The rockets blew a 22 point lead
4. If the league erases the last almost 8 minutes of the game to be postponed then they’re erasing Lonnie Walkers comeback and his career high stats
5. You read this far You should believe this game means nothing more than a loss to the Rockets and that’s it no do overs
6. Players should stop dunking because it doesn't count in nba no more.
If they do that then Harden didn't score 50 or go 24 - 24 from the line, Capela didn't get 20 rebounds, Westbrook didn't get a triple double.
More losses like this, Russ is going to be requesting a trade by February.

I encourage all NBA fans to actually WATCH the games instead of looking at the box score.
James Harden had 50 points tonight, but he shot the ball 38 times, shot 28% from the field, 20% from beyond the arc, took 20 three point attempts and took 24 free throws.

Rockets were still up by 13 with 8min left of the 4Q. This mistake didn't define the game, this is basically the same as a wrong goaltending call in an actual basket, it's worth 2 points.
The only difference is how outrageous it's to say the dunk didn't count, but that's far from enough to make them play 8 min again or revert the W to Houston.

I saw that Lakers-Spurs game in 1982. I vaguely remember it being caused by a misruling on a Norm Nixon free throw that afforded the Lakers a win, but when they replayed the last seconds weeks(?) later the Spurs won

Anyone want to talk about Norman Powell's 3 pointer with his foot out of bounds that was also reviewed by HQ? It gave Toronto the lead with seconds remaining. Thankfully the Heat pulled it off in OT but the camera clearly shows Powell's foot on the line.

The Rockets choked that game away and don't deserve a replay regardless of the fact Harden's dunk should have counted. You deserve to lose if you cant win after having a 16 point lead after 3 quarters and your best player Harden scores 50 points, your second best player Westbrook has a triple-double, and your starting center is 9 of 9 from the field. Houston is my favorite team but they have a long history of choking and giving up big leads. Props to the Spurs for never giving up.

Refs make mistakes all the time....The spurs have lost so many games due to terrible reffing. If the nba does reply this game, that is outright not fair the spurs. How about instead of Houston complaining about 2 points, they don’t blow a 22 point lead in the first place? Then they wouldn’t have been in that situation.

I don't think it's said enough, but Rachel probably THE best analysts in sports today. Not just at ESPN, not just for a female.... the best period. She's always professional, but still fun, she's hot, she knows her stuff, and she can talk like a regular person, not some robot. And... she's hot.

BS excuse. Bad calls happen and often affect the point total. It was the Rockets' game to lose and they lost. Just be thankful it was a regular season game.

Respectfully to the refs. Shoud there be atleast some sense responsibility and consequence for the officiating side? Although I agree that the job is not just a walk in the park, so is it being an NBA player or other job inside tge league. They should also have some culture of accountability because it is still a job and when you are on a certain job there must be atleast some minimum standard to be followed and when failed to do so, not necessarily just one and simple mistake but mistakes that are outrageous and and often times repeating in a short period of time by one referee or official.
