Yeah that’s the thing about Max’s cliff theory! It’s not the aging part, it’s the slow decline part that he wasn’t right about. He said there was going to be a cliff where one day Brady will go from MVP candidate to a scrub within the course of 12 months. If he still wants to trash Brady and talk about his decline, he’s gotta move on from this whole “cliff” thing and describe Brady’s situation accurately.

I don't understand these narratives people are creating. Brady according to you guys got the limelight of the credit for winning 6 super bowls. Now that he's struggling he doesn't get the blame? Tom Brady in the early 2010s had worse teams and did more then he's doing now. You cant give Brady all the credit when there winning and then turn around and blame everyone but him when the offense struggles. You think Tom Brady is trying to shift the blame? no. I can't believe in this whole ordeal that no pats fan can admit the onus is on Tom Brady and if he's able to turn it around then he will get the credit he deserves.

That’s a great point. Brady would shred defenses with Mahomes receivers. It would actually be unfair almost.

No. He’d run into the same exact problem Mahomes has right now, and that’s his defense , Andy Reid random coach hiccups, and below average running game. Why haven’t I heard Stephen A. talk about the REAL reason that Max’s “cliff” theory of the theory was wrong? It’s not about Max being one year late, it’s the fact that there was never a cliff, and at this point, it’s too late to say that there still will be a cliff. Max is wrong because he said there was gonna be an immediate drop off in Tom Brady’s talent, not the slow decline that we’ve seen over the past two years.

The story of yesterday was the Patriots defense showed up. Unfortunately so did the Chiefs defense. Not all the plays, not as much overall as the Pats defense. But enough. Yes the KC offense couldn't get more than 3 points in the second half. But it was enough. Another close game and thankfully this time the gods of victory gave KC the nod. We need more KC/Patriots games. There's a rivalry here.

What did he say that was wrong? He said brady will have to play better than he has this season to win if mahomes shows up and that the defense has been carrying the team. That's 100%. But also he was way off on his cliff theory but that wasn't what the segment was about.

I dont see the chiefs beating ravens in the playoffs. Ravens D way better than it was in the beginning of the season. Pretty much all of the secondary was injured during the beginning of the season and in the chiefs game. Close game but think ravens will win

I think the key is gonna be who's defense is better this game. Because while I believe in our offense, if they shut out the Chiefs again, its gonna be up to spags and that defense to hold tom brady on points. Since alot of games this season, when patriots behind at the end of the game, they make it look closer than it was the entire game, so you never know if they'll comeback strong real quick.

The Patriots defense has built a resume on beating bad teams, and even worst QB's. Jackson & Watson both proved they aren't as great as the media will have you believe. Brady on the other hand can no longer elevate his game and is trying to mask this fact to those wearing rose colored glasses by throwing his coach, owner and receivers under the bus in order to save face. While the Chiefs defense is no longer last in the NFL. The Patriots offense has been the benefactors of six defensive touchdowns & great field position due to the play of their defense vs bad teams. They weren't afforded that luxury vs the Ravens & Titans are they were beaten soundly in both. Because of their inability to run the ball, Brady getting rid of the ball early before the play develops because he doesn't like taking hits, and lastly below average play of quarterback. Is the reason for the Patriots recent struggles beating the Cowboys & Eagles of the world, and why they will not only lose this game, but won't get far in the playoffs. Don't waste my time with all the GOAT talk and history lessons. History has shown us that dynasties eventually come to an end. Whether we're talking about Montana's 49ers, Bradshaw's Steelers, Starr's Packers, or Otto Graham's Cleveland Browns. They all had one common denominator. An ending, and we're not talking about the type Robert Kraft enjoys so much.

The same beat up back up O line that can't run block can't pass protect either. The recievers literally can't get one step of separation so I would love to know how another QB is going to do better. Brady's tight window throws have been statistically #1 the past 3 weeks because they have to be.

Mahomes and Rodgers are two QBs with GOAT potential. if Rodgers can get a couple more rings, he’ll be the undisputed goat because his stats are way better than Brady’s. if Mahomes gets one early on in his career, then ring-wise and stat-wise he may eclipse them both..
Do me a favor, compare Brady's stats with Rodgers from 2009 till now. No, Rodgers stats are NOT better than Brady's. Well, some are slightly better but Brady's is better in a lot of areas. Let me know when another QB has 9 game winning drives in championship games and 4 Superbowl MVP'S. Then we can talk about who the G.O.A.T is. Also, compare winning records when passing 50 times or more and winning records trailing in the 4th quarter to teams that finished with a winning record. It isn't even close. Brady has 2 separate hall of fame careers. You will never see it done again.
