Really? Pretty sure Steph had the best roster in the league around for 5 straight years between 2015-2019 and arguably 2022 with the way Wiggins was playing.

I mean Draymond suspension, CP and GP injuries hurt them. Wiggins not playing well doesn't help. 12 games of blowing double digit leads. Steve Kerr bottling multiple games. Honestly this team should easily have 44 wins. Let's not forget this team started the season hot.
Rebuild is the only thing they can do if they want to be contenders again. Either JK, Podz, TJD and Moody grind make a big leap or make a trade to get another star player.

The League needs the Warriors and Lakers to be relevant, just for their ratings. The 10 seed Warriors are talked about more than the Timberwolves and Nuggets. Getting under the 2nd apron and being in the playoff picture is possibly achievable. Getting under the tax and staying competitive is a pipe dream.
Sooo moving Wiggins and Looneys contract canโt help them? Itโs crazy to me. I think they sign chris Paul back at a discount snd they move GP2, Looney and a Wiggins. That saves money and moves pieces that arenโt working. You can package Moses Moody with Wiggins to move off that deal and already you have enough to keep the valuable players and get new ones
I would love to see Klay lead a young team like the Spurs who will do some reconstructing this off season. He will automatically be the leader in a distinguished franchise that is on a rebuild with an emerging promising player. I think he owes it to himself to separate from Steph and see where it takes him. Personally, turning a losing franchise as team leader would be more satisfying than winning another ring as a (diminished) supporting cast.
The Wiseman pick was the death of this dynasty. The fact that they won in 2022 was a miracle.

Curry is 36 and is clearly declining (shooting below 35% from 3 and below 40% from the field in the last 16 games, those younger defenders catch him now). He won't get any better as time goes by and the rest of the team is barely play in level. Face reality, it's over.

I knew it was a fluke win cause most of Miami's starters and bench were hurt, just like them beating the grizzlies last week. LIke if their ceiling is playing well and evenly distributing the pts among their starters against depleted teams, then idk how they honestly beat the Rockets let alone any team in the group of lakers/mavs/kings/pels or however the seeding falls. Warriors and Bulls gotta be the teams that have the closest games in the 4th quarter that go to OT, and most times Warriors blow a lead they made in the first half. It's the same formula every time, this time they do not have the depth, coaching or talent besides Steph to make it in a deep conference.
