I was excited when we drafted him. I trul was. He just had to find his place on this team and feel like Boston wanted him here. Now that kyrie is gone his confidence has skyrocketed plus him and Tatum have been getting better by the year and have been going hard every off season. Look at the weight brown put on in one off season and his off the dribble is becoming nasty.

Decarri Richardson-Curry Celtics don’t have anyone that can stop Giannis or even Siakam’s length. They will go off no matter what. They have no legit bigs...and I think Giannis’ biggest threat is still Toronto who has the length and defensive IQ to deal with him. Sixers also I believe can deal with him in Embiid downlow and Simmons from the permitter but they have no shooting or floor spacing so Ginnis will give them a hard time as well protecting the paint. But Giannis against line-ups like Boston or Heat will dominate straight up dunking on everyone at will.
M M Siakam couldnt miss from 3 when he played Boston and Boston still won comfortably. Celtics beatinng the Raptors in 6 games max. Bucks are a whole different animal
M M They already held Giannis to 22 points. I will acknowledge it was like the 4th game of the season, but they are not without weapons. Marcus Smart was in Giannis' head that whole game.
With a good center the Celtics are the best in the east no question when healthy, and even without, Marcus smart has held multiple all stars to their worst games of the year so far this season. Not my favorites in the east but definitely could see them sneaking to the finals if healthy

I think the Celtics are neck on neck with the level of the Raptors - for the tied second best teams in the East. In regards to the Nets, I'm pretty sad at how poorly Kyrie is looked at! Kyrie played fantastic for my Celtics. Obviously he had locker room issues and leadership issues which translated to poor on-court chemistry, but there's no reason that should translate to the Nets. The Nets won 9/10 of their games without Kyrie against a sub .500 team - that means something! If this narrative is pushed with Kyrie, I don't think it will translate well in the locker room.

The Celtics should come out of the East. On paper. Great coach. These guys, Tatum, Brown are on their 3rd year. They now have Kemba, a real leader. But the real key for the Celtics is Gordon Hayward. If he is all star caliber, until the postseason, they are the biggest threat to the Bucks.

Celtics ain’t finishing 2nd in the east. Heat we’re playing back to back coming off an OT game the night before when Lowry was bricking 0-13 3 pointers on his first game back.
