Junior K the past 4 to 5 games he’s shown improvement. He’s a project player mishandled by the Knicks.
Chris Injeian Dunn’s been given a chance but from the get go Frank wasn’t given the same opportunity as other draft picks in his class. His coach didn’t play him his rookie season despite him being a better defender and having good passing instincts. Even KP wanted him to start but Jeff was coaching for his job. Then they bring in other guards to play ahead of him. If the spurs or Toronto had him he would be a lot better.
Angel Mercedes no , no he wouldn’t . He doesnt have a very high ceeling . He has been playing bad this season , his 3rd season showing no real promise . I remember starting last season the people acted like he was so good but he just isn’t

This is why coaching has little to do with the team success. It's 90% players, 10%coaching.
Anytime management comes to its employees or in this case the media out of the blue management is in trouble. Big trouble.
The problem with the media is that whenever a coach is coaching on a tanking team they constantly call for their firing and u know a team that always constantly getting new coaches r never good for a players development 🤦♂️

Last time Knicks were good when they had Jeff Van Gundy coaching them.
Here's my take:
I feel the same today as I did about David Fizdale when he was hired last year: He's a solid coach, maybe not a Championship Coach, but definitely a Playoff Contending coach.
Now, having said that, let me add this: I thought at the beginning of the season last year that the KNICKS would be a competitive enough team in Fiz's first year enough to be relative until KP came back to play in'19-'20.
By the end of the '18-'19 season with KP gone and the KNICKS having finished with the worst record in the NBA, since they were losing on purpose in order to get a great chance for picking #1 in the NBA Lottery; I was 100% convinced that David Fizdale WILL be relieved of his Head coaching duties even if the KNICKS make the playoffs this season.
Why? Because he was hired to be a "Lame Duck" coach or "Fall Guy" coach. Fiz was/is just the bridge or his purpose is for transitioning from the old regime to the new and improved KNICKS. Fiz was NEVER supposed to turn the KNICKS into a Championship Contender.
So, even though I don't think it would be good for him to get fired, at least not before the season ends, I'm not sure he will make it to the end of the season.
If we fans want to see REAL change: 1) Steve Mills would have to be removed from his duties as President or 2) James Dolan would have to sell the team--doubt that will happen or 3) Us fans will have to stop spending money on our KNICKS until something truly real and hopeful happens for us
Right now, it looks like 1, 2 and 3 are not going to happen anytime soon.
