Even if you get Embiid back what makes you think this year will be any different. Embiid dominates too early in the season so he is never healthy at the end of the season. He nor that team has any clue how to pace themselves to make a run. If you had you would have been in the Conference Finals at least

As a Celtics fan…these are the type of games that concern me about this core going into the Post Season. It’s all cool and fun when the 3s are falling, but the minute they aren’t you have got to find a way to find a happy medium of still shooting 3s but find easy shots to end runs or keep runs going…

I’ve watched the Celtics a few games this year. In my opinion, their biggest issue is their offense depends on isolation plays and 3s. They can score a lot of points, but they can’t control the pace of a game.
The Warriors of a few years ago also shot a ton of 3s, but they were setting a ton of screens and they’d adjust if they were cold.

Late game execution continues to be their achilles heel and until they fix that, then they're going to have a hard time getting over the hump.

It is not missing the 3 pointers that hurts Celtics' fans. It is the insanity of taking 16 consecutive (2:05 comment by Legler) attempts when you have Brown and Tatum available. Also isn't Porzingis supposed to provide an inside presence. Why not try the Pritchard to Kornet play at the ring that has worked so well this year?
Why not use the game as a training run and call time outs to run specific end of game type plays which is a Celtics weakness? Who cares if you burn all your time outs before the 4th quarter
