I have no idea why Lovestruck in the city wasn’t received well in Korea. I was amazed by the writing and the cast.
It’s so wonderfully made. I loved it and I wish they could do more seasons of it.

Lovestruck in the city has too many mature scenes (according to Koreans)..Korea is still very old fashioned ..Korea is like,what india was about 10-11 yrs ago..these things are still prohibited in korea like ,taking the shirt off in the public or posting a bare body pic on social media .. NOW you can imagine how far korea is from modern culture ..
If you saw Empress Ki, The K2 and so on and then Lovestruck in the City, you thinks WTF. At the moment I'm watching this drama on netflix. I'm from Germany and we are not so old-fashioned like koraens are in the most series (don't understand it wrong, I love k-dramas) and in German films/series are more mature szenes (but they are often boring 🤷, also it's not really that I want to see 😉). If you see this drama, it's unecpectedly to see more mature szenes in a k-drama and so it's getting used to.
I watch it because of JCW 🙂
I guess people are just not used to “mockumentary” (fake documentary) style of dramas yet. If I’m not mistaken, LITC is the first one in SoKor. This is also a web series and doesn’t even have an hour-long episode that most fans are used to. But this is honestly SEVERELY underrated because it’s so good. Acting is top-notch and Kim Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook’s chemistry is insane. Don’t even get me started on that breathtaking cinematography and beautiful soundtrack. I have so many good things to say about this drama and I’m surely gonna fucking lose it if Season 2 and 3 will happen. I might die of happiness 😭
I think Koreans like to pretend that they are a conservative society and would never be that open about relationships. 😂
Lovestruck in the city was something he seemed real and raw. His personality in real life might be slightly different but seems JCW himself confirms that it was him playing the role more than following a character

He's terminally handsome, so it was nice to see Park Jae Won agonizing over his lost love when he could have been a playboy. He had wonderful chemistry with his leading lady.
Still trying to find a way to watch The Healer.
Healer is on Netflix.

He made a mistake, I wasn't really his friend then but, we are good friends now. The guy has a nice personality and great radio programs on the BBC. Now, tell me.. were all the other ladies you sent a comment old friends too? Just nod yes (that's up and down head motion) or no (that's side to side head motion) :)

I don't know why people didn't like Melting Me Softly. I really liked it. As he said, it is quite funny and him doing comedy is rare. Everyone in the drama did their part greatly and I loved it.💕💕💕
for me, it felt that the writing was all over the place. Once I gave up on logic, I enjoyed it more. Also didn't like that in first eps everyone kept screaming loudly. but I really liked the leads and also the second female lead (I could have even rooted for her to redeem and get her man after her 20years long wait). The series had funny moments but for me not as much as Backstreet Rookie, that really had me in stitches
