    I was diagnosed 30 years ago, and nowadays I can really see how my symptoms and experiences have shifted and changed throughout the years. I think it is so brave to be frank and open with others about yourself..it took me decades because of the stigma surrounding mental illness, especially psychosis and schizophrenia. Please continue the researching into your own thoughts, very therapeutic for you and me as Well!

    You are doing a good job explaining and educating others about what it is like to "be in your shoes," so to speak. It is understandable. In your video, you mention a book by Jos Rudolph? Which book are you talking about? Thanks!

      Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate that. I hope people will get insights about what it is like to be pscyhotic. I'm talking about Jozef Rulof. He was a Dutch medium who could travel to the afterlife and told many stories about that. He wrote 27 books which you have to read in order of appearance to understand his teaching well. If interested I would recommend to read the first two books. As an introdcution to his work. Gr.

      @@EvertJanGuijt Hello and thank you for the reply. That is impressive -- 27 books on the topic? He must have had a lot to say on the subject. I will take a peek. Keep on being curious and remember, talking about your experiences sometimes eases the mystery and whatever unpleasant feelings accompany those experiences. And sunshine and fresh air. Get some sunshine and fresh air!

      I can relate to that feeling. I had that for years, still do to this day. That is difficult to coop with sometimes. For me taking rest really helps. Am not fond of great crowds because of that.

    Hi✌️I’m schizophrenic too. I’m own and honest about my diagnosis too. You don’t always hear what you need to but they show their true colors to you and if they don’t accept you for you, you don’t want/need them anyway. I hear a lot of people believe they are hearing other people’s thoughts. I did for a while too. I would love to see some of your art work. Is that one of them on the wall? -C

      Thank you for your reply. It is difficult sometimes to talk about being schizophrenic. Making movies helped me to see my own reality in a way. People come and go in your life. The good ones do stay luckily. I did need some alone time though. Sometimes I still have difficulties with the bounderies of thoughts and feelings and sitting inside other people. You can find some videos about my artwork in the play list of this series, but also under another play list only with paintings I made. Gr. EJ

      Hi EJ, I'm going to check out your art video's next. Schizophrenics are always so creative, I bet they're Amazing! If your feeling other people's thoughts and feelings, you would be an empath and have the ability to feel how others feel and possibly think depending on how much time you invest in it. You can get it right most of the time but not all the time or you would have to be them. Thanks the way I look at it but I'm sure not everyone would agree with me. Keep up the great work, I'm lovin your videos!!! -C

      Thank you! I could understand people their feelings and thoughts a lot back in the day. Was communicating on a different level with people. Mostly after a couple of days I got a reply back that I was right. Until I got psychotic, then I was lost. Am getting back on track again luckily. Hope you like my paintings! Greets EJ

      I know a schizophrenic who was not creative.
      He died a few years ago in his late twenties from heroin overdose.
      I am creative and i have a psychotic disorder.
      I think it's a survival thing for us.

    Did your memory get better when the medication took effect?

    • @EvertJanGuijt
      @EvertJanGuijt  4 년 전 +2

      That is 50/50. Because I'm less delusional I'm feeling better in ways of reality senses. That is a big thumbs up. Normally I was drifting off within fantasy worlds all the time. On the other hand I do notice that I forget things on the short term memory. Sometimes I forget what I did 5 minutes ago. Better to forget than to be delusional all the time. Because I'm less delusional I feel better. When seeing movies like this I do notice that I lost track pretty often. So my memory did become better in the end.

    Early humans were essentially all schizophrenic but as we've developed and become more sophisticated and have moved away from our natural foundations. Our egos have become stronger and we've been disconnected from the forces of the unconscious. So when they erupt forth we find it very strange, alienating and oftentimes very terrifying. However many schizophrenic patients don't experience this eruption of the unconscious all the time. Instead it seems to be triggered by episodes of pooping.

      I've read stories about that as well. People were more in touch with the afterlife back then, without knowing about it. Not always in a good manner. Sometimes with the darker spheres as well. They were taken over more frequently by these spirits. There was no map in a way to follow who you are from the inside and the afterlife. Nowadays we have societies of course. Sometimes that is good, but not all the time though. (The Inquisition for instance, which was terrible). We do go higher eventually. The better spirits are more working in silence though. They don't want you to become psychotic in a way. Getting connected with the lower spirits. Society wise we can learn big time about the new environments of the higher places of the afterlife. Back in the day we had the Egyptians of course, but also the Maya people, Inca and many others. In my opinion the pyramids we see throughout the world were made by the same people, only in different times of their reincarnations. There were dark times as well in these places. Dark magic sort of. Nowadays we need to let go of society sometimes, to get more in touch with your inner feelings. Learning about reincarnation is a big deal eventually. Learning about past lives and going higher in the better spheres, in universal love. Letting go of these past lives of ours. Again going higher in universal love. Most of the books we see nowadays in the world don't talk about reincarnation though and I think that is a pity. That can trigger psychosis and lead you away from the truth. I've learned the hard way. Then again I must say I'm grateful to be alive in this time. In other past times I probably would've been killed already with my visions I have in this time. Learning about psychosis is a blessing even. I am getting back on track again with new discoveries. Moving towards new lives eventually.

    Might sound psychotic to even say, but it sounds like you're psychic almost the way you describe being ''inside'' people and feeling their thoughts or reading their minds.
