as a female barber myself theres a few things i'd like to note about the 1 star barbershop haircut:
1. please dont hover around the chair when a barber is cutting like that. personally myself i dont like it when people hover around me while im cutting. its my work space and i find it hard to move around the chair and focus on cutting when people are in my way.
when the lady said " i made a hole already" like im not surprise... its not hard to make a mistake if you have people hovering around you adding more pressure to doing your work.
basically if you want the best haircut possible then give the barber their space so that they can get in their zone and do their best work.
2. dont make the consultation confusing. the guys telling the poor barber different instructions. i get that they are joking around. but personally, i take my job seriously and want clear instructions so i know what youre wanting. and that goes for any barber.
they basically treated the experience like it was a joke and trying to make it a bad haircut. when for all you know that barber just wants to do a good job. treating it as a joke and getting into the barbers work space is just going to make it harder for the barber to do a good job.
