And Zaza Pachulia making sure Kawhi haven't been able to play healthy playoffs for 5 seasons now. The best basketball tactic currently is to physically cause injuries to the opposing star player. If you don't punch the star straight to the face, no other type of harm is called by the refs, handled by the police, or severely frowned upon by the fans.
I think people don’t realize how similar Curry is to Jordan and Kobe in terms of competitive spirit because Curry is really good at keeping face and his emotions in check for the public.

Just because he mentors players doesn’t mean he has been a great leader. Was Igudola the leader of the Warriors or a great mentor? Do you equate a great player to a great leader? LeBron is a physical specimen that has also stood the test of time in the league. He never led the Heat and in Cleveland he was the only player that could be called the leader. Even then I don’t think it was him being a leader just being the only real star on the team, minus the Shaq time.

im 20 years old now, and this is just sad. i grew up to bron and steph battling it out for almost a decade. it's sad seeing steph doing it all on his own, and being towards the end of his career. hard to watch someone who permanently changed the game come close to hanging it up.
