It's always a constant surprise to me how one guy can be so funny, so sarcastic, so angry, so serious, so philosophical, so kind and so humble all at once. Ricky's like a kaleidoscope of emotions, strange for someone from a land of usually stiff upper lipped people.

It's a bit more nuanced I think. Ricky is clearly a smart guy, but he's also very full of himself sometimes. If you ever watched the Ricky Gervais show(with Karl) you often find him misunderstanding things and misquoting "scientific" dilemmas and such. Ricky's point on removing the religious and science books is spot on. Ask 10 Christians to describe God and you'll get 10 different answers and beliefs.
