Who would watch a David Blaine and Chili Klaus stage show?
The real question is.. WHO WOULDN'T!?
Um me of course
I definitely would see that Sean!
That would be ultimate
I would love it, as a fellow dane to Klaus. His videos with guests are great as well!

David Blaine: check your pocket

Wildly underrated comment
This is the most I've ever laughed at an internet comment. If this is your original joke, wow, so well done
😂
Watching Sean struggle the whole episode while David just goes through everything w ease was a magic trick in itself
Yup, normally the guest goes for the milk before Sean, but he had to drink twice while Blain just said #7 was definitely a better sauce XD
i was about to write the same, that is a great trick.
He was so calm.... if anyone knows anyone else that was this calm on this show... please refer me, I'm relatively new
He internalizes his pain better than anyone I've ever seen.

He did the whole show without taking a single sip of water. Even after eating the Carolina reaper. Just shows his mindset ,he enjoys the pain!!!

Dude, David Blaine is an animal. Didn't even phase him at the end. On a side note, I've never seen David smiling or so happy before. This was awesome.
I feel like he was channeling that quarter-trick kid. Eats Caroline reaper, "cool".
You should his interview on Joe Rogan's podcast
I make entertaining videos as well🙏
I think he was glad to have an interview that somewhat ressembeled some of his performance, so was given the opportunity to perform in a way, eat which he loves and answer interesting questions at the same time.
You have to watch ascension then
He has to be the most spice tolerant guest that has ever been on the show. Unless there was trickery involved, bro ate a Carolina reaper pepper like it was nothing.
Stone Cold was, hes the GOAT at the challenge, never flinched.
The only trickery is his mind. This is nothing compared to what he willingly put himself through:)
yup! oh Issa Rae also breezed through the wings! Check it out 😄
@@Kraakesolv Oh yeah man, mind as calm as a puddle of water. This is crazy.
@@pachecodc5 Stone Cold didn’t eat a Carolina Reaper with zero reaction. That’s on a completely different level.
Okay, they will never top this. Not only is Blaine a lover of wings, unimpressed by the hottest of peppers (unless he palmed that last one) and a terrific magician, but he also comes across as genuine, engaging and just plain fun. The conversation was terrific. I not only enjoyed it, I learned some stuff. Bravo and congrats to everyone who worked on this.
The recent Conan one was awesome
he was impressed... just unaffected "wow..."
@@misteratozjust gonna say that. The Conan episode was insane.
The real magic trick was making it seem like Sean was the newbie and guest at hot ones. David wasn't even shook from da bomb. And after all that , Sean's face after eating that pepper compared to David. What a true showman
Sean did great as a guest. He has a bright future ahead of him.
For real lol he started taking over hot sauce number 7 😂
😂😂
😂😂😂
So funny 😆
😭😭😭😂
Dude found a way to love pain. It's like his brain translates translate pain into "interesting", so he can approach it with curiosity rather than dread. That's the real magic.
This episde really reminds of the Tony Hawk one chip challenge tbh. Both can suffer through immense pain but don't show it cause they've endured it or mentally prepared. Amazing interview either way :)
@@claytheist6736 Pain at the foundational level is a physical response. Nerve endings send signals to your brain that they have been activated by certain stimuli. But your reaction to/processing of pain is entirely emotional. If everyone can ignore pain to a certain individual level then the idea that some people can ignore pain to an extreme level, particularly if they train to do so, is entirely plausible. As with all feats of rationality overcoming emotion, preparation is key. Mr. Blaine is a master of the art in this respect.
Have you seen the Buddhist monk who doused himself with gasoline and blaze himself to death as a form of protest? It was also used as an album cover of the band rage against the machine.
David might not mention it because maybe that wasn't his image he's trying to portray but he might have transcended Human suffering.
There was also an interview footage somewhere here in youtube together with his Mentor Paul Harris that they've comeup with the "street magic tv special" when they were both on "Shrooms" and was originally called the concept of that TV Special as "The Urban Shaman"
Well said
That kinda made me want coyote Peterson on this show hahaha
Blaine seems genuinely happy to be there and enjoying himself.
Wow this is really a special episode. It's rare that Sean is more affected than the guest and this time he was totally swept away!
I’ve never seen David so happy. He’s so stoked. You can tell he thinks of Sean like a fellow performer.
Props to Sean for being game for anything too.
yes!
I think he just really loves wings
The non-performer David comes out when he's feeling the spice and getting smiley. The real David. Great to see.

As a David Blaine fan, this is the *most* emotive I've ever seen him. Sean is truly a great interviewer.
You gotta watch him on Joe Rogan's interview as well. He was so animated and full of giggles

You need to watch The Joe Rogan podcast because he was equally as a motive and equally as cute

It was amazing to see Sean going for the milk and David just laughing, kind of what you would expect from a legend. He made it all look like peanuts … one of my fav episodes.
David Blaine always oozes charisma but seeing him candidly in this setting is just amazing
Blaine's mental strength is incredible. The ability to control his physical reactions with his mind is so impressive.
He definitely practiced for this, which I honestly respect.
Thats his thing.
Stoicism
The dude broke the world record for holding your breath underwater and did it for 17 minutes. This was before attempting it after staying under water for 7 days. He was determined to break the world record when he failed it after the 7 day trick BY LITERALLY DROWNING.
Only death can stop him… literally.
“Our greatest freedom is how we react to things.”

David has the kindest eyes; such a genuine energy. What a sweet episode!!

I think this is one of my favorite episodes. Sean was in the hot seat without even realizing it.
I have many favorites but this one with David is my top one! He’s not only a sweetheart and respectful but his mental control to pain is amazing.
I was not expecting David Blaine to be one of the most endearing and absolutely sweetly mannered guests but here we are. What a sweetie.
Same
Totally agree. Have a such a different opinion about him! What a sweetheart!❤
He’s an incredible person
Me either, what the eff!
Seriously? He’s an endurance artist?
His mental strength is just unbelievable, Smacked through the gauntlet, slathered the last wing with the hottest sauce and smacked a carolina reaper in the end just to top it all off.
hats off David Blaine, not just an amazing magician, but a true showman at heart.
I wonder how his bowl strength is? I reckon he could show off a really cool fire trick.
You know he probably spent the last 3 weeks preparing for the show by eating redonkulously hot food.
He's either got that whole mind-over-body mental separation thing completely mastered, or he's just burned out his nerve endings from years of performance! Either way it's an impressive showing.
I mean the amount of suffering he puts his body through, he gotta get some kick out of it.
Honestly it’s mental strength. You can see he felt it was very hot, but he’s just so tuned In to his mental, that he can perform as if it was nothing. I think anyway lol - he’s a legend none the less
The humility this man has impresses me more than his magic. I'm just in awe of him as a human being.
Are you sure he is human even?
i'm so happy he fought for "cool" kid because it's by far one of the most memorable reactions in the whole special. I think because it's so soft but genuine, and that kinda sparks your imagination on how he really feels about it -- and to me the look on his face seems like he's about to get into magic!
same I remember being a kid watching that special and laughing so hard when that kid just said cool! its always stuck in my mind when I see David Blaine. It makes me happy that it was his decision to keep the kid in the episode!
Same here…remember that moment vividly. He has the right insticts
This is by far the least conversationally awkward Blaine has ever been! He’s so relaxed and personable. Great job Sean!
Watch him on Joe Rogan podcast as well then. Longer and great conversations are well

David Blaine is the most incredible magician I have ever seen. Definitely on my bucket list to see one of his shows or be a part of his street magic. That would be amazing
David casually shaking his head and saying "no" to ice cream while Sean is literally sweating his stomach lining out was elite

The fact that Sean had to take a sip of milk before Blaine show how resilient David Blaine is
I love that your show has become a celebrity bucket list event... I have been watching this show since the beginning and love how it has evolved
First time Sean struggled more than the guest, wow! Blaine has mastered dealing with pain, mind over body. What a great episode!
It's fascinating, every time I hear a David Blane interview he makes it sound like everyone can do it if he just trains enough, sometimes I'm not sure if he is aware that he is actually special. I swear, unless there is some absolute voodoo thing somewhere that I don't know about, I could train mind over body until I collapse and I could never do the things he does.
Guy Fieri and SteveO also beat Sean.

Cant say I've watched loads of David's interviews but on the run up to his Ascension stunt I watched his Joe Rogan podcast, he's great on that too, a similar vibe to this I guess - definitely worth a watch.

@@slowery43 Are you syllable-shaming me!? and I was so happy to upgrade from two syllable usage, I just wanted to flex my new skills ... I submit, would you be able to provide me with a better, more valid, three syllable cypher?
This may be the most I've ever seen Sean thrown off his game. Not in a bad way, but in like a pure reverent way. He was in awe of how David took everything. And when DB did the magic trick, it was like we got to watch what Sean was like as a kid...his smile was so genuine. Bravo for the first guest!!
I know right! Seeing him giggling uncontrollably when the pepper was cut open, so genuine it eliminates the chance of the trick being scripted. David Blaine is something else!
HOW DID HE DO THAT
👏👏
@@Amadeus2054 I think I have it figured out. The card was pre-selected by David. He had 2 other cards like it already torn the exact same way and put into the peppers, probably through the stem that was glued back on. David used mind tricks to have Sean pick that card by having it already presented out then asked back and forth to make it seem like Sean actually picked the card. The card was already pre-torn or perforated to have that shape. David actually ate the card then had both peppers with a backup card. That is why it took David longer to chew his pepper because it had part of a card in it too. The trick comes from the illusion of choice that Sean thought he had when picking cards.

You can just see the pure excitement coming from David. He’s so happy to be there. Loved this one!!!!
Not gonna lie idk where the show can go from here I think we made have officially plateaued its been quite a ride lol
And he ate that Carolina reaper like a champ!
The sauces are excited by his presence
He just took like 3 pounds of speed so he doesn't feel the pain.
I’ve seen multiple interviews of him but I’ve never really seen him so alive and joyful. I love to see it!
One of the greatest episodes everrrrr!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Very nostalgic seeing an old clip from his magic show on tv. I used to watch this on AXN channel. Brings back a lot of memories as a kid. What a legend David is.
The fact that DaBomb didn't even make David Blaine blink is insane to me. That gets a reaction from literally EVERYONE on this show. He literally walked through it. INSANE
14:49 - 15:23 He seemed to find DaBomb interesting...
I tried dabomb last night and it was the worst experience of my life.
Terrible flavor
I seem to remember Neil DeGrasse Tyson go thru Da Bomb like it was a salad
He stabs himself and eats glass for a living, just a normal day for him
It never gets old when guests respect Sean's line of questioning! He's so great at this
yeah I thought the same soon as he said it.
What do you mean?
This was the best episode ever! I would love it if he would come back ever season!
What an incredible person. David really is inspiring to me. He inspires me to be more resilient in the experience of life.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so completely unphased by Da Bomb.
Never thought I’d see Shawn be “out-spiced”. David is so cool, calm and collected! Definitely didn’t want this episode to be over
@@Ben-eo8pd Yeah, but I think David Blaine deserves the 1st place now after that raw Carolina Reaper
GaryVee held it well too
@@Ben-eo8pd Until we see Lorde eat a Carolina Reaper without flinching, there's no way you can say that.
@@joshwheelerback5144 Ok, fair enough
Thing is.. I’m not even the slightest bit defeated by that😂 because of course out of anyone in the world, the only one on par or exceeding would be David blaine
