So many good burger classics in Dallas. Keller's, dairyette were my favs and the old Griff's on s. Buckner if you've never tried it is also a worthwhile visit.

I lived by Keller's for 7 years. My favorite is a double #3 with jalapenos. Best burger in Texas, no, but a damn tasty burger and the best place to get a burger, and that means something. I love Keller's.

I’ve lived all over the country including Dallas. Keller’s is one the best burgers I’ve ever had. The chili burger will take your breath away. Great place!

Man, Keller’s was the spot when we were cruising in our hot rods back in the late 70s. I ate there hundreds of times as a young man and I was really bummed out when Jack Keller passed away a few years back. I’m glad Jack Keller Jr. is keeping the place going. I have to get back there for old times sake.
I like this show, I hope that the biggest part of American culture has the same kindness and warm and so many traditions.
I could watch Alvin and George all day.

Jack Keller, Sr. passed away in 2016 at age 88, and kept working till the end. Jack Jr. runs it now.

For anyone who's never been to Texas, the Knife is near downtown Dallas with a view of skyscrapers and a very urban environment and Keller is a pretty common looking suburb. If anyone was curious, Dallas does not look like the yeehaw country back roads this video makes it out to be. Go outside of town and it does look like that! Great video though, love the content!
LOVE Keller's!! Used to go there back in the late 1970's. If I remember correctly, there was an inside sitting area with a pool table. AWESOME burger!

I can totally see that. My wife is from the southern burbs of the Ft Worth side of "DFW" and she also DOESN'T refer to her hometown area as part of Dallas area and rarely as the DFW area. Its as if they are 2 separate legs to support the table, with burbs in between the 2 cities as their own "leaf" inserts of the table.

Every Sunday back in High-school in the late 80s we would hit up Kellers on NW HWY on our way to White Rock Lake to party. It was always like a car show, people from all over would come for the great burgers and the hang.
If you were under drinking age they wouldn't let you drink at the car but if you tipped your car hop right she would let you get beer to go. God damn i miss the 80s

@@itr0863 no the thing is with his level of obesity that would just cause really bad saggy skin and even if it takes a year it's thinking short term. If we wants to lose like 50 pounds a year by calculating his calorie intake vs expenditure then make at at a 80 percent ratio to what it is now hell gradually lose the weight, become a healthier person in the long run and it won't be as difficult on him because those pounds will add up. Sure it would take longer but honestly the results would last and he would avoid skin surgery. May take 5 yrs but his life span would increase much more than that. Most people think short term and of quantity but the trick is long term quality weight loss

North Texas native here, and I've always wanted to try Keller's. It's twelve and a half miles away from me, and I cannot wait to sink my teeth into some of those amazing looking burgers/fries/onion rings! I've heard of Knife, but I'd much rather buy a steak at a steakhouse than a burger. I can definitely say Texas has some of the best beef in the country. Californian's love their In N Out, and Northerners love their Shake Shack, but when it comes down to it, it's all about the beef!

Keller's is great, but Maple and Motor is pretty damn good too. They missed out on a lot of good burger places in DFW.
