I love how this is a competition show, but it's always so positive, just pizza chefs bringing their best game and respecting the hell out of each other, win or lose. Always brings a smile to my face.
Are we not gonna mention how crazy versatile Nichole is at making pizza? She’s a BEAST
It's just following a recipe my dude... dough, throw on some ingredients and put it in an oven. The hardest thing to get right is the dough and they prepare that in advance... Not saying she isn't awesome, she is because of her personality... but "skills" are not really a factor here.

As someone who has eaten at various pizza joints, it’s not just following a recipe. If it was, pizza would be perfect every time. Also, many times it’s their own recipe & recipes can take dozens, if not hundreds of attempts to perfect. They’re not using any old recipe you can get off google, dude.
Edit: I’d also like to add that it’s not just the dough, that matters, it’s also the sauce. The sauce matters just as much as the dough & that’s also something they have to create. Again, using their own recipe that probably took many trials & errors. Plus, even if it is the dough, there is/are literal proper techniques to flipping dough so it’s more than a recipe.
Are we not going to mention how she says “pessa” and not pizza?

Im so happy you guys loved this episode with Cliff Skighwalker. You have no idea how thrilled I was to have him on the show. We reunited and KILLED IT! One of my top fave things about this show is that both competitors are so eager to complement each other and talk each other's pizza up despite the fact that they're going against the other. Love the vibe

I love how supportive the competitors are on this show. Like, we can all be good, we don't have to put each other down.
I am a proud Michigander and Cliff's pizzas are absolutely blow your mind amazing! I kinda think he should've won. I know Nicole had the fancy Italian dish in there, but Cliff went a bit simpler and what he does best. I respect that. They really both did great!

This is the most wholesome thing I've seen on KRplus in a minute. Loved every second of this. I'm a Brit living on the east coast so I don't have much experience with Detroit style pizza, but damn that looks good.

I love how this show is a competition, but it's really more just about loving on each other's dishes. I just always wanna see people loving on each other's work and having a good time instead of trying to beat each other down. Nice work, and definitely thanks to Nicole's positive attitude

Detroit style, when done well is my favorite of any style. I go on pizza vacations all over the world, tried every style imaginable, and this...crazy ass panned pizza is the best of them all lol.

This show kinda like throw down with Bobby flay except the surprise factor. She goes head to head with who mastered that type of pizza lol.
And she's actually likable, unlike Mr. Flay.
She actually respects the competitors, so, that is different.
Detroit style is my absolute favorite. Buddy's, Shields, Buschemi's, etc.

I've said it before, but this is probably my favorite FWF show. The personalities are nice, the energy is nice, the format is nice, the production is nice, but what really does it is that it makes me hungrier than any other show on the channel. And that's saying a lot.

Being from the Chicago area I had never really considered Detroit for pizza but I went to a Tigers game at Comerica and hit Buddy’s beforehand. Consider me educated. Detroit pizza is amazing and deserves to be right up there in the conversation with Chicago and NYC.

Honestly as life long NY’er I never even heard about “Detroit style pizza” until earlier this year when Pizza Hut advertised it...I know-I know 😂...but now I’m planning to travel to Detroit Labor Day weekend for first time and one of my main priorities is to try this pizza authentically! I heard of Jets Pizza they have a location in NYC looks really good in pics..but im holding off on it so bad cause I wanna be in Detroit for my first time trying it lol 🍕

I was thinking exactly the same thing. He lost 70 lbs, now he's barely recognizable.
He pissed off the eating disorder people with #thinspiration, it was a whole (stupid, ridiculous, pointless) thing. It must have really affected him. Either that or he just likes food. I get that.
I could give a Ted Talk on how much I enjoy this show and why. Format, guests, and execution have been on point every episode so far.
