Based on Binging with Babish’s previous episode on mochi ice cream, I think Sensodyne gave First We Feast a bunch of money and told them to make a sponsored ice cream show. Not the other way around. I could be wrong though
@@tomdunne6610 the only two true ingredients in that crap they put in the freezer overnight, was pure vanilla extract and whipping cream . I don't know what the hell that other stuff was they folded Intuit. That a boy autocorrect into it.
Earl Hollar the other stuff they folded into it was evaporated condensed milk I’m sure of it. Anyone who knew simple ingredients would know that.

Come on Chef guys, that's why the scoop is designed the way it is so you can dip it in hot water. So it slides through the ice cream and falls out of the scoop without all that messy finger jamming.5:28 to 5:45
Chefs know to never put an ice cream scoop in hot water. There's science behind it that I won't be able to correctly recall but it's kinda interesting, look it up 🙂

I was thinking as I was watching this what would a First We Feast ice cream Sunday be without hot sauce and then BAM! The host was great I liked that we get to see a down to earth “ normal “ instead of a polished studio host for a change. Looks like some college bros just hanging out having a good time. Chef Josh melted my ice cream if you know what I mean.

Chef Josh should have slow-caramelized those bananas in table butter. Adds richness, creaminess, plus a little salt to bring out the flavors more fully. My wife hates the mess they make of the pan, but she loves the flavor when I make them. And when your better half says the taste is worth the mess, you know you've got something good.
Two of my favorite KRplus chefs. Alex is just such a warm and friendly guy and Josh is a natural goddamned superstar. Not too familiar with Mike, but he seems aight.

it seriously works man, the best ice cream sundae i ever made, was a spicey chicken curry sundae.
vanilla ice cream base, with a coconut cream and chicken stock based spicy curry sauce that over thickened on top as if it was caramel sauce.
