Dineen Serpa I think it’s hit and miss. Sometimes he’s funny, sometimes not. It sucks having to trudge through the bad and waiting for the good jokes. Pete’s improv is the worst. When he’s off the cuff I think he sucks.

Pete Holmes = a revelation! He looks SO innocent but is actually quite deep & twisted. The host is phenomenal! I would watch him read a phone book. (Whoops! I just gave away my age group.) This show is a revelation. I haven't laughed so much AND out loud in a very long time. Kudos to everyone involved.

I fucking love Pete Holmes. Such a great human being. In every interview and talk show and clip I've seen of him, he lets his soul out in bits and pieces of personal wisdom. People like him are wondrously interesting to me. Voluntary vulnerability like that is difficult to come by.

I always thought the same, and assumed the intro was there to disarm female guests who (likely receiving physical compliments all the time) expected the same, and then immediately realized the professionalism of the interview to come.
Is this the only episode of this you've watched? The guest says that about 25 percent of the time. That's why shaun completely ignored it.

I've only known this man through all of his skits but now I think in addition to being hilarious he might be the most humble and honest "celebrity" I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Seriously, the guy just drips openness and his natural comedic ability and wit are just on another level.

Honestly I was damn surprised by the general depth of conversation in this interview. There were a few things Pete said that I thought "Fuck. Why I haven't I ever said that?". Also, Pete Holmes can apparently eat the hottest of sauces like they're nothing. I have eaten a few of the hotter varieties featured on Hot Ones and they are fucking painful. That guy has Sean Evans levels of spice tolerance. Damn.

I eat 97% plant-based foods but I don't call myself vegan, I call myself "Kosher with a love for plants" so I can still get in some spit-roasted goat or a lamb burger every once in a while.

This is still my favorite HotWings interview out yet. Ik I’m not the only one who appreciates a guest appreciating Sean as we all do for his research, questions and overall ‘Chameleon-Like’ ability to adapt to and replicate the perfect ‘other-half’ balance with his guest.. I’ve watched many different interviews conducted by many different interviewers.. Sean is the only natural one I’ve seen
Literally every time I watch this show, and Sean says, “Hot questions and even hotter wings,” I think about how silly it’d be to say “and even hotter guests.” That was going to be my life goal. When I made it in the biz, I was going to be on Hot Ones and say that. But Pete just killed it. Dead.

Sean is prolly the best host for any interview show I've seen. He has the innate ability to let his guest be themselves and talk. Considering most of the time you watch these things wanting to see the guest. Sean doesn't make them into anything else and doesnt insert himself too much.
