Leaving this comment so I can remember my 6yo son (likes classical music, especially at night) LOVES this song more than any other. Says he feels happy when listening to it. This is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. Everytime I hear it, I feel a profound sense of peace and serenity, but at the same time, deep melancholy. When I close my eyes and listen, I see worlds falling to ruin, astronauts staring into the vast expanse of unexplored space, endless void consuming reality. I see kingdoms falling, and new ages rising. But at the same time, I see gray and rainy afternoons, cozy villages and warm faces. It's such a polarizing yet perfectly welcome slew of feelings, all brought by one song. Thank you for capturing lightning in a bottle!

I just found out a special person used to post something on my birthday every year for 3 years until 2020 when he finally stopped. It must have been tough and I think he has finally moved on, but the waves of regrets are slowly coming back to me and hitting me in the face. I was a terrible person. But I genuinely wish for him to be happy wherever he is today.
I'm a dancer (waacking & tutting) and for the first time I felt this song upon realization, and I literally stood up at 2 am and started dancing freestyle to my unsaid emotions. I can't speak, I have no one to tell so I let my dance talk. I can't even cry but my feeling is heavy and I needed my tutting dance to calm it down.
