Yes, good singers who can perform at this level are hard to find. It was noticeable from the multilingual song videos accompanying the first ‘Frozen’ film that Disney had scoured the world and - successfully - found female singers who had remarkably similar range, tone and timbre in their voices. So, where they found a singer who can sing in more than one language, that singer performed in more than language. The lady who sings Elsa’s voice in Dutch and German is the same (Willemijn, as you know). I recall that another language pairing where the same singer sang in both languages was a Filipina lady (sorry, I don’t remember her name) who sang Elsa’s voice in both Tagalog and Cantonese. In that way, the song ‘sounds’ the same in terms of tone and ‘colour’, as it’s the same singer - only the actual words are different.
i really wish the other ladies got some more lines. Now it was mostly just the idina show with the others as backup. I get she's the "original" Elsa but the others sounded just as good and half of them hit the tempo (and also the notes) better than Idina did.

I'm from Russia and I hate her vocal and our translation so much :( Russian songs in both 'Frozen' films are so disgusting... and vulgar. And you're right, russian dub has nothing in common with the original. They lost the sense of both films. I hated 'Frozen'... until I watched it in English (and then in Japanese and French :).
The cast of the Elsa’s in multiple languages was amazing, the German actress was Willemijn Verkaik former elphaba in wicked on broadway, and the Norwegian actress was Lisa Stokke who played Sophie in the original west end cast of Mamma Mia
The Norwegian woman killed it and she was so bubbly and smiley (don't think that a word but whatever) the whole time it made me happy just looking at her.
I think the most amazing thing to me is that she sings in german without any accent. She is so talented! Would have been so cool to hear her singing in dutch as well 🙂
I have respect for the Danish woman she had to hit a hard note and but it would've been very nerve racking for her to do that extremely high note in front of a big crowd especially with while pregnant as well so good job girl!

とても、とても、感動しました。

Listening to them put their own spin on this beautiful song makes me love it even more!
Wow 🤩 Gem Wichayanee she is the diva of Thailand She is like a princess with a beautiful voice.
もう色んな国でDisneyが愛されてるって分かるから大好き!
私的には松たか子さんがLet it goでサビ歌ったようにサビが聞きたかったけど、普通にどの国も良くて泣ける(>
i really wish the other ladies got some more lines. Now it was mostly just the idina show with the others as backup. I get she's the "original" Elsa but the others sounded just as good and half of them hit the tempo (and also the notes) better than Idina did.
She is not even the original Elsa lmao, as frozen is originally norweigan.
@@emilievenoy7630 She's the real Elsa. Elsa's hometown is just Norway and that makes her Norwegian. She's the voice of Elsa. She's the Original.
@@emilievenoy7630The Norwegian Elsa is not the original lol
@@emilievenoy7630 I think Elsa would be Danish since Hans Christian Andersen wrote the Snow Queen.
@@NairAthul Snow Queen yes, but not Frozen. In one of the short specials they even used map of Norway. It's based on Snow Queen but inspiration doesn't mean it needs to be Danish.
Aurora My Queen
You did it💕🥰
It's so epic the fact that all interpreters can sing and they were united all together for this song.
Forget the singing but look at the lovely dresses their all wearing it feels like I’m watching bright stars in the sky shine with different and unique vocals
@Emily Ellis u no I have no idea
One year later, I'm still proud of Anna Buturlina's singing (Russian version), even if I don't like Russian translation almost at all.
Anna, you are the best, just keep going

And don't forget the Maria Lucia, the Danish singer, who also played Elphaba
@@FlamSparksI had no idea she played elphaba but thanks for telling me
in love with Aurora’s voice
The Norwegian woman killed it and she was so bubbly and smiley (don't think that a word but whatever) the whole time it made me happy just looking at her.
It certainly is a word and the perfect word for her
Smiley is the word you're looking for, I think
I think she was proud b/c of the whole story being based in her home. Shes saying what Elsa would be saying without the help of Disney Magic
You know the movie Frozen is Norwegian and they put a Norwegian woman in it
She was LIVING it!!
Aurora is too good for this mess.
Mess?
@@makaelaischillin The English voice rushed it up so it ruined the whole thing
@@dorcas450 thats cause the orchestra isn't in the same room as her
@@user-es7xz8bj9h No. The others did fine. Plus it's on tape. She just decided to go off timing
She literally just sings oooooo
This is one of the few songs that hits me on a deeply emotional level... live like this or in the animated version, it makes me bawl like a baby
Beautiful! And their outfits are GORGEOUS
2:55 Takako Matsu and Kasia Łaska looking at Idina because she's offbeat be like: 👁️👄👁️
Idina's singing feels rushed
she's like : ok let's get this over with
😐
Same as her Let It Go performance
That’s what I thought too. Tempo seemed fast for her in the end. But adore this.
She had an earpiece problem
Yeah she's like "Hurry up, girls, my Uber is here!"
Well it is the oscars, they have a time limit
Holy crap. This is fantastic. Epic
THAT WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE AND COOL! GREAT JOB!
Thai,German and Russion girls were so beautiful and there voice was also awesome rest of girls were also so pretty 🦋
Did you know the girl that sung in German is also the Dutch Elsa, so as a dutchie I was a lil sad that she did German 😀😅😂
@@noellevalentieplatell YES WILLEMIJN IS SUCH A QUEEN I WISH THEY HAD HER DO DUTCH AS WELL!
I think the most amazing thing to me is that she sings in german without any accent. She is so talented! Would have been so cool to hear her singing in dutch as well 🙂
@@MissCrazygirlie yes she would have done amazing 🥰
I have respect for the Danish woman she had to hit a hard note and but it would've been very nerve racking for her to do that extremely high note in front of a big crowd especially with while pregnant as well so good job girl!
NickieNickieNike you heard the full “Into The Unknown” in danish? Isnt she amazing?!
@@slambert2092 I know right it was absolutely incredible
Not to mention that she did it while pregnant, that can’t be easy 🥰
@@YouCantKillMyDream yes I think the baby would be proud of her mother for doing that
It’s hard to hit a note right away without singing something before it too
This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
LOVE this how each do their own language
