It makes no sense, and I don't want to knock other groups because everyone works hard in their own ways, but I'm like, HOW does X group suddenly have a burst of popularity like so randomly when SF9 are out here working as hard as they are and have so much quality music but still don't get their big break? And I've yet to see a group that has THIS much talent packed into it. Like there is no black hole here???
Definitely someone is failing them, whether it's management or marketing or just their whole ass agency. They keep having these breaks, like Rowoon and Chani's acting, for example, and FNC don't actually seize on the moment to push them into the spotlight. It's frustrating!
@@HAZRE. there are so many reason why SF9 this underrated. One of the reason was FNC failed in promotion especially group promotion. Why im using "was" is because i noticed these days FNC sent them to many shows whether tv shows or youtube shows and content. But backthen FNC didn't promote them as much as this cb. Our fandom keep growing but that doesn't mean its big. We were smaller before but thanks to SF9 solo works many people including me discovered them. But one of the reason why SF9 still can be called as underrated (because its almost their 5 anniv debut in kpop industry but they still left behind so much) is because solo works can be a bad things too.
Its making people being a solo stans which is almost all of them were really immature. They keep mentioning other member and asked people to give more and more attention to their fav member. Okay its not a problem if you are not an OT9 or you having a fav member because its normal. But when you became too biased that you disrespect other members that led you not giving attention when it comes to a "group" works, you ignored it then its not normal.
Solo stans always support their fav works only and not group works. Thats why when we need Fantasys to gathered for voting and all, theres not many Fantasys we can see. Because solo stans were not there. There were too many solo stans in our fandom or people who came because of members solo works. If someone came here because of group promotion or works then they will having a bias w/o disrespecting others because they came here knowing or don't know all of the members. But if they came here as solo stans they maybe will stay as having a bias w/o disrespecting others or solo stans that need to stop become a fan because of their toxicness. In my case i am a solo stan that became an OT9
I hope FNC keeps making this style of music, they don't need to do what everyone is doing SF9 is too classy for the typical boy band trope.

@@GeneScribbles As an outsider since I'm not in the fandom, SF9 has been promoted just fine since the beginning. They always show up in various places online like any other normally promoted group. They even joined Kingdom while preparing for this album, which is a huge investment on the company's part. Summer Breeze even got advertised as a youtube ad before. The issue is gaining fans. A group makes money by having fans. More people have been talking about SF9 ever since Kingdom, though.

SF9 hit their highest album sales this era. KD really helped showcase their skills and attract new fans. You gotta consider that FNC isn't as rich as the big 3 so they can't promote the same way. Even so, our boys are thriving in sales, acting, and everything.

I agree ! However FNC has to know that this kind of promoting isn't enough anymore and has to realize that music showcases and participating in idol shows aren't the only ways of promoting anymore ! They've might been doing this way since they had older groups, but newer FNC idol groups really need other ways of promoting, even other companies that aren't as rich as FNC are using other methods to promote (especiall ads on social media) !

Tbh Fnc is damn rich they just pretend to be poor. FNC is the 5th richest company after hybe and the big 3. They just suck at promoting their groups...hope they can improve on that ㅠㅠ
