Crying today. April 8 is my birthday, never celebrate them. But was going to celebrate this one because it marks 20 Years since I left an abusive childhood home by an angry single father in my teens. All I wanted was a nice dinner, flowers, friends and a day off work. But that won't happen, I work in Healthcare and will be on the front lines against this virus on my birthday. I scraped and struggled for 20 years all to take care of myself and I did it.

This song just reminds me how life isn't always what you planned..Sometimes dreams die, and people change. We don't always get what we want out of life, no matter how hard we try. Sometimes all we can do is acknowledge that and try our best to move on and make due with what we have. This song is timeless, and no wonder so many people can relate to it. My twin brother passed away just a couple weeks ago, this song always brings me such bittersweet memories. He showed me this song, this version specifically. He loved it so much, he’d play it and sing along to it 24/7. He always smiled when he sang it, it was one of his absolute favorites. I can’t help but bawl my eyes out now when I hear it but at the same time it brings me so many wonderful memories. I miss you Jake. So much, I love you more than anything. Womb mates forever.

I lost my little brother a few years ago. I couldn't imagine if he was my twin. There is no describing the void it creates inside and out. I'm sorry for your & your families loss. I wish I could tell you it gets easier. Remember and tell the stories. Live, laugh and smile as much as you can.

I lost my best friend because of suicide. I went through a tuff time. I was addicted to drugs and alcohol she was everything for me. I had a suicide attempt too but now 9 years later I am proud to tell that I am clean , that I have a job , that I found true love. This was her fav song. And every-time I hear it I remember her face, her smile and it just warms my heart. She would be proud of me. For me being someone. I miss her and love her. So you if you read this tell your loved ones you love them. You never know when it’s to late. Don’t take life so serious it’s get better with time. I love you

razerbhv91 ......precisely. This idiotic “Who’s still listening?” annoys the life out of me too. The fact that these utterly pointless comments gain thousands of “likes” when intelligent, informative and *interesting* comments often go unnoticed, is only one reason. Musically, there’s so much to discuss, I can’t believe any serious music-lover would ever ask such a banal thing.
