When I was 20 I was a Serie Eccellenza footballer, the 6th Italian league. I was a midfielder. If I returned to play in the women's league now, after 15 years and was a goalkeeper, I would win the women's Golden Ball hands down. The difference between men and women is scary.
I saw some great women's matches, fast, interesting and overal good. What is hilarious, these womens here are the best (in town, country) and got to the team. I want to see the less skillful ones... Jokes aside im always very surprised, how slow and clumsy some women's are. 10-12 years old boys seems faster and better in every aspect of the game (not to mension about more advanced terms like positioning, tactics etc.) Don't want to be disrespectful, but it's kinda crazy.
if I was a coach for a women's team I'd tell them to just shoot the ball in the general direction of the goal and the opponent goalie will do the rest. maybe they should allow them to have male goalkeepers 😅
