For anyone who hasn't played this mod, diamonds aren't supposed to be in the middle earth dimension I think he changed it in the config file. Also enchanting also isn't supposed to be in it bc they have their own enchanting system.

As somebody whose played the lotr mod, knowing that they probably cheated in a good majority of the video kind of ruined it since thereβs a lot of features they kind of skipped over and disregarded by either re enabling or manually spawning diamonds and re enabling enchants and potions through the config

Hey so I have a couple things to say about this video, as a person who plays lotr mod I can say that diamond armor is uncraftable. Also the mallorn ent can only be defeated if your evil it's obvious your aligned with good factions so this means that the only boss other than the balrog that you could fight would be the troll chieftain. Also enchanting doesn't exist in survival. The only way you would be able to enchant your weapons would be if you went in creative and got the items needed (same with the diamonds) you can get these items in the game but not through survival. You're not a good liar lol. (After watching the video I have some other stuff to say like you can't find mirkwood mobs in the shire bruh and potions and brewing stands can't be made because you can't get nether wart and blazes don't spawn. But there's too much to say so just play the game for yourself and re watch the video if you don't believe me.)

Forrest: Proceeds to spawn in vanilla diamonds, use the vanilla enchanting system which is not in the modpack, use the vanilla brewing system which is also not in the modpack.
Forrest: Also fast travels to waypoints which you can only unlock by walking there first
Forrest: Literally pretends the Gundabad Orc Tower is a structure though it literally doesn't exist

This is not the real mod. In the real mod, mithril is the substitute for diamonds, and it's rarer than diamonds as well. He changed it so the mod would be easier to manage.
Or just planted it because he was getting frustrated not finding any since he wanted footage of finding some for content and didn't realise it didn't spawn naturally.

1) you can't find diamonds in Middle Earth
2) those spiders Dont spawn in the shire if I remember
3) Also I don't remember there being any Place in M.E. that spawns Blazes... I have been playing the mod for a long time..
4) Nether-like areas aren't present in the mod as long as my memory serves me
