This season is..outta this world.
That's right, your boy Mooney is back to talk about changes to this season's Battle Pass.
Where YOU choose which rewards to claim.
This season's Battle Pass brings back Battle Stars.
Your way to claim all of the season's rewards.
Collect those stars and exchange them to get the Battle Pass rewards you want, in the order you want them.
In the order you want them.
You'll unlock access to additional pages of rewards to choose from.
Collect all of the rewards on a page to gain access to the locked rewards.
If you haven't purchased a Battle Pass, you'll still be able to claim free pass rewards on each page, using Battle Stars you collect from just playing!
Each time you level up, whether you gained XP by playing, or bought a level of V-Bucks, you'll get 5 more Battle Stars.
As usual, you can get all 100 Battle Pass rewards by reaching level 100.
Get galactic. Snag those stars.
And unlock your favorite rewards.

When you reach lvl two you can only get the tier 2 item and not choose from a page of items
Bring back fun vehicles, stop requiring fuel for vehicles
Having unlimited vehicles was kinda op, plus, it's not that hard to refill the fuel.

For anyone wondering what battlestars used to be, back in chapter 1 whenever you leveled up, you wouldn't instantly earn a new battle pass item instead, it would give you a certain amount of battlestars and after reaching 10 battlestars, Your Battlestar level would go up by 1, and you would unlock a battle pass item.

The battle stars were far superior to the XP system in my opinion even though you didn't level up as fast. It is probably thanks to nostalgia though.

@@K2Echo And then you would have to grind. There has never been a point in Fortnite where just doing all the challenges would get you straight to tier 100.

exactly. why is team rumble so bad now. we want to do those challenges that involve going to a POI but they could sometimes be in the storm.

I miss Chapter 2 season 7 so much. Cosmic Summer, fun weapons, great map, great loot pool, Ferrari, 2 live events, ufos, parasites, lebron james, late game, mothership mini game, abductions, imposters.. I could go on for ever. Definitely my most favorite season ever in Fortnite.

this gave me a heart attack, i thought this was a new "pick what you want but you cant get them all now" battle pass. thought it was gonna be controversial and ended up being something insane that all battle passes should adopt. legendary
It's all cool until you see each skin set is still locked behind a level wall so you cant just get whatever you want anyway
You technically can do it if you spend alot of money to get to level 100 but then you will have all the battle stars anyway
i skipped the ska girl and already getting guggimon, so i did actually choose my reward

@Project Xero Studios no this season is 3 months long just like seasons 3-6. It just looks like it’s 4 months long coz it ends in September, so it’ll take place during 4 months but only be 3 months long.
