They always walk
They do always walk. Police and especially prosecutors have immunity. They should be prosecuted for taking HIS life. If they had more accountability and culpability they would prosecute far more carefully, investigate far more Thoroughly and seek the actual truth. They do not, because the way we have allowed our system to evolve we Lawd them and promote them for convictions not for being truth finders. And widely the public is misled into confusing the two.

He just got a full ride scholarship to D1 football Eastern Michigan! My brother is on that team and told me about this documentary and his story.

That is the worse accusation and crime anyone can be given without 100% evidence, DNA, etc.
If they really thought he did this, they should of set up Surveillance and audio in the home !
The Texas Ranger who testified in this case was cocky and extremely unprofessional. He should be fired!
I think he should be punished but not fired he basically redid an investigation mudded with incompetent old policing
The Ranger may have been dealing with a botched police investigation - at least he testified to that in court in a way that any fair-minded person would reach the same conclusion. There really was no investigation. The detective is, was & probably always will be incompetent - agreed. But that doesn't excuse the Ranger's blatant character assignation of Mr Kelly in the affidavit he submitted to the the appeals court, while the case was before them. Unless he has a Ph.D. in psychology that no one knows about, he's talking out his ass. Trying to put his thumb on the scales of justice with nothing but psychobabble, extreme speculation & what looks like false / planted cell phone "evidence". The Ranger's statement seemed very personal & yes, unprofessional. As you've seen, ALL the appeals court judges, 9, I believe, slapped the Ranger down when they finally found Mr Kelly innocent. Not just a bad investigation, or bad prosecution, to be sent back for a new trial, but innocent. Police who do half-assed investigations or simply believe one party over the other, absent of any evidence, are more dangerous than the criminals. Because we trust them to be fair and they're not. I've seen it myself. They can ruin lives in an instant. The police were called, so someone is going to jail & they don't care who. 5 minutes on the scene and they've determined the fate of someone's else's life - based on nothing more than their prejudges. If its white vs black, man vs women or rich vs poor. Give me nothing but the demographics of the parties involved & I'll bet I can figure out who's going to jail 90% of the time. Equal justice under the law is a myth. Don't count on it to save you & never talk to a cop without a lawyer. It's very likely they've already decided who will be charged. If that's you, then they'll take everything you say out of context and twist it to fit their theory of the case against you. You really can't win.

Agree! We need to hold the detectives and judge/prosecutors ACCOUNTABLE! We cannot have these people in positions of power that can ruin INNOCENT lives! We need to stop overlooking these “misjudgements” and start removing them from power! As a society we need to demand justice and stop letting these judges, prosecutors, and police departments conduct such botched investigations contributing to the loss of INNOCENT lives!!!
He should be grateful he had the support system he did because without them he would still be sitting in prison. Sadly, this happens way to often to innocent men and women and they rot in prison for something they didn’t do. Our justice system claims to have checks and balances to prevent innocent people from being convicted but that just isn’t true....something has to change. No but the boy who claimed he did it said in the last part to the woman who was questioning the boy the boy said to her I need to tell the truth but I can't, so they started questioning him even more and then came the truth that he didn't do anything and that the friend he was living with that his friend probably did it and that his friend told the little boy to tell the police that it was Greg so that's how they really found out and ofc with all the support aswel

Ya, it's happening to Todd Mullis right now. He has a sentencing hearing tomorrow, and his new lawyer is going to ask for a new trial. Already, Todd has lost 19 months of his life. I hope it doesn't go on for 5 years like this guy.

Well, Finally!!!!..Good for this young man...Now, my first thought, Can he sue the ppl responsible for putting an innocent man in prison for over three years of his life. Just imagine at the age he was at the time, what he could have done with his life?..A bitter sweet ending!..I pray for him and his wife to have a great, and flourishing life together!..Lord knows they deserve it!

Watch the doco Outcry, the kids didn’t make it up, it was his friend who was also living in the house that did it. No doubt! They investigated the wrong man.

Well, I believe he was innocent but who knows for sure. I will say that I think his defense lawyer should go back to law school and learn how to do her job. She was totally incompetent. In my opinion, he never should have been convicted in the 1st place.
heres my problem with this , theres no doubt that the 1st child that came forward was molested ... what about justice for him ? Greg Kelly might be innocent , but why did he lie about stuff ? find it hard to believe that GK was set up by the whole police dept , think if GK would have been more honest about things there would have not been so many red flags .. oh well he is a free man , now go do what you promise find out who molested that kid ...

The kid never said he did it. The kid said it was the in his bed room. I think you need to watch it. He was totally innocent and the police knew. The kid that did it came from a rich family and they framed Creg. Even the kid mentioned who did it to him but the police twisted what the kid said.
