He's going to cover the interest rate above 3% the banks can charge any rate they want to. We will be going further and further into debt.
That bit was misleading. An article I read simply outlining his plan read that the government will essentially cosign so the home buyer can get that lower interest rate. He plans to sell tax free bonds on the open market to help with funding. So it shouldn't really cost the tax payer any money.
This was no different when Ross Perot split the republican vote twice to let Clinton win.
The biggest difference is that Ross Perot had actually accomplished something in his life.
The difference was, Perot was an agent of the Democraps.
During the initial months of the campaign season Perot was polling at 30-32%, suggesting a true 3 candidate race.
And lo and behold, Perot announced he was dropping out of the race, only to announce months later that he was rejoining the race, dropping his support down to around 18%.
In summary, Perot had a real chance to WIN, so he had to pull his stunt to ensure he could only take votes from Bush and enable Clinton to win.
In hindsight, BOTH Clinton and Bush were SWAMP STOOGES anyway!
