Unfortunately i can relate to this song so well so every word that Freddie sings i feel the meaning. I love this song but it brings tears to my eyes everytime i watch it as i know the true meaning of what Freddie meant when he wrote it. He was on his own going through his disease and then coming out to everyone in the early stages he had no support and no one to turn to. As the title of the song so to am i but obviously not by choice and hopefully only temporarily. Only time will tell. Love you Freddie and miss you heaps.

I think this is my favourite version of Living on my own, perhaps because it was the most popular version back then when I was a child here in my country.
I love this song's lyrics, I can relate now that I'm a grown up adult. It's wonderful how he was able to create such a sad song with such party style music.
