What people fail to realise is altough Mavs were winning for the past 2 weeks they were shooting horrible from 3, but winning the paint. This game they were shooting great and this is the outcome. Scary team

Seeing Kyrie hustling and having fun always bring joy to my heart.
This Mavs team is scary with two of the best scorers in the history of basketball. I wouldn't be surprised if this team go all the way to the finals.

The perfect role fo him. And look at that, he isnt forced to play a big role and people stop hating him. For me he was never the problem. Our FO just couldnt find anyone better untill this season.

Mavs also were the 2nd most injured team this season and they're still in a playoff spot despite all that. Tatum has mid stats despite being in a very easy eastern conference and Luka has the most insane stats this year, stop deluding yourself

He did it without murray and mpj. There are levels to this. And the help you are talking about are will barton, austin rivers, jeff green and monte morris. AG was the only " help" worth mentioning.

when Tim Hardaway is on the Mav.s will smoke any team in the NBA. Something about how his game goes does the Mav.s. ln the play-offs if he is hitting as the 6th man they are deadly.
We know Luka and Kyrie will always perform well so the other to perform well is crucial especially THJ. But the thing about THJ is that when he got cold it takes so many games for him to get hot again. On a scale 1-100, he either gave you 80 or 5 and nothing in between.
Dallas by 36? Holy i wouldn't have bet on that outcome.
Since the trade deadline Mavs went 14-6, which is 0.7 win rate. They have one of the easiest schedules from now so wouldn't be surprised if they pass the Pelicans.

Mavs remind me of Denver when they transitioned from Will Burton and Monte Morris to Aaron and Mpj, they became way better and consistent without Powel and Kleber in starting lineup
I mean this in the least disrespectful way possible but any person could become the Mavericks head coach tomorrow and just run isos and pick and rolls with Luka and Kyrie for 48mins and I think the Mavs team coached by the random person wouldnt even be far off of the current Mavs squad after an 82 game season π
If Luka and Kyrie are focused, every team should be afraid to face them. Also, Gafford brings what they needed on the paint. If they're healthy and focus, things are gonna be tough for their rivals.

IMO he plays roughly the same way, what's game changing is that he's making extra effort on D this season and of course with Kyrie on the floor he can feel more at ease cause he knows he doesn't have to do it alone. So better team and defensive effort, he's better than ever but play style has not changed.
