How does anyone give this performance a thumbs down?!? Revelatory. Extraordinarily beautiful. Bravo.
This is magical. One of the few Scriabin 2's that are not self-indulgent, where you can actually hear the waves hitting the rocks, experience "the agitations of the deep, deep sea" and see the moonlight caressing the surface of the water. An artistry that one doesn't often get to hear. Thank you Rana.

Beautiful MATURE performance. At 20 (here), she plays Scriabin as if he was a twin brother. All his colors, luminesences find revelation easily in her broad palette of scintillating finger dexterity and chordal voicing and finesse.
Exquisite performance, with magical interpretation. Bravissimo!!!

The best version of this sonata I've ever heard
Listen to the Richter version in Prague, then you realize all the details that are not clear here. But Beatrice really did here great job.

If anyone likes Scriabin as much as I, wouldn't you think some might have recommended this - in all its excellent pianism and 'color' (e.g, such mature/*high*-musical pedalings) - to their piano friends? Only1731 listenings as of 3/15/2014? And 3 or 4 are mine! :-)
