I have an immediate family member who has been addicted to drugs since the late 90s when in their early 20s they were prescribed oxycontin after a workplace accident. It has destroyed our family. Their entire life ended at age 23. It is like the death of the person you once knew.

MLM's growing with the desperation to cover basic necessities
MLMs have likewise been a scourge in my country (I've been coerced myself into shelling out some cash years before because I couldn't say no to the recruiter who happened to be my aunt). Notably, due to the local banks flooding the market with credit cards sometime in the mid-2000s, MLMs agents began recruiting at the malls where their spiel would try to steer their targets into memberships by charging initial fees to their credit cards (which was effective because despite people's aversion to handing out cash, credit cards were more readily handed over). People who got into MLMs via their credit cards soon realized that their minimum payments soon became insufficient as charge after charge were made against their cards for products they couldn't sell or were so expensive that eventually banks realized that while MLMs as merchants kept profits running, the MLMs were also responsible for a substantial volume of cardholders going into past due status. Later on, banks decided to deny affiliating any MLMs altogether

What really gets me is that just before Thanksgiving, @Andi amo's trollish mask cracked, and he "was caught red-handed showing feelings, showing feelings of an almost human nature!" He expressed concern for everyone, and for the potential harm he was causing by being the self-appointed Sam Bee troll.
If this was someone else hacking the account, please, for the love of all that's good and right, don't ever stop hacking his account. You should be working every day to undo the damage he has caused: deleting trollposts, posting corrections, linking to factual sites, apologising for his misdeeds, etc.

It clearly says so at the beginning of each segment.. n also why these clips are called "rewind"
It says they are repeats at the start of each clip, and literally for the entire time in the top right hand corner.
And the products are typically those that women are steered towards loving. The whole industry seems to be driven towards female consumers. The whole thing with direct marketing is supposed to be that you don’t stock product. Once you start stocking product that seems like a pyramid scheme to me.

You forget how desperate some people are and I totally understand why sometimes they would see medicine advertised online as the cheapest/easiest or last possibility to lose weight or get rid of their migraines. Especially in a culture in which medical care is not easily accessible for everyone.
You forget how expensive healthcare is and how poor many Americans are.
This is all disturbing, but nothing moreso than a Sackler kid gardening medicinal herbs in a Hamptons mansion while millions suffer from opioid addiction.

But most southerns don't have prominent southern accents anyway. They sound just like other Americans. Canadians and Americans tend to have somewhat more similar accents than other countries because they live next to each other.
