Yeah exactly it's in really good shape I have no idea what would have pulled the door out like that though it's kind of odd. Something must have got hooked on the side mirror. Other than not in that dent in the fender and the crack on the ground effects on the passenger side it's in really excellent shape

Hey thanks yeah I definitely felt way better after that car was detailed. The seats are in fantastic shaping this thing the only thing I really need to replace would be about the carpet. And just reupholster or reglue the T-top headliner. Oh nice that's awesome what color is your 1991 Pontiac Trans am? I will be doing a full video series on this Camaro on the teardown and repaint of it. As soon as I'm done the 1980 Scottsdale pickup truck series. I will either be painting this one or the 1991 Pontiac Firebird

@@fullyloadedkustoms That's awesome, I look forward to seeing more. My 91 Trans Am is maroon with a grey cloth interior, it is a GTA model so it has the gold badges and wheels. I would have really loved to have found a Trans Am in metallic blue like your 91 Firebird, which also is a nice car with a super nice interior. I haven't started my Trans Am in a few months so I plan on doing a cold start video of the car this week.

Yeah I'm definitely a fan of these ones especially since the motors were all carbureted. Definitely make some a lot easier to work with having the less electronics in them. Same here I always like that front end of the earlier 3rd gens too. What year and color was your Camaro in high school?

Yes I graduated in 84🇨🇱Abd several of my pals had these gen 3 ,and Square bodies ,C-3s,Gen 2- Z28s,my close friend had one of the 1st sold at our local dealership,Dark Brown/tan interior/gold package trim V-6,nothing like new car smell😄

I definitely have always liked these gens of Camaros as well. My first car in high school was a 1983 Camaro sports coupe. Thanks I really appreciate that. Now that I got it running I can wait to strip it down and get it ready for paint.

I would love to build a replica of the first car I had back in high school which was in 83 sports coupe that I showed at the beginning of the video. I'm definitely saving the black paint for that one. This one I think would definitely look great in a red color for sure tons of really nice shades out there for red. @roycervantes1341 I want 100% will be building a replica of my high school camaro on the channel. I recently just found the fiberglass hood scoops for it online. And after I found those I really got to thinking I have to make a replica of my high school car. Same here I really like that 90 to 91 RS ground effects kit with the Scoops I think it looks really good

Yeah definitely looks to have been sprayed probably within the last 10 to 15 years I would have to guess nothing's really flaking off it yet. It's good possibility that's maybe what has happened. I'm definitely going to find out once I start sanding on and see how many different colors it might be.

@@fullyloadedkustoms…it was silver with red decals. The car was totaled soon after I sold it. It was a first year IROC, in the rarest color, with the top performing engine option and a rare non T-top car from year with lowest IROC production. Shame it got recycled into soup cans.

@abolishwelfare oh really that's to bad the new owner totaled it that sucks, yeah that's definitely ashamed that was end of it especially with it being the first year of the Irocs as well

Yeah this one was all decked out with the sound system amp and subwoofer. Would be nice if it has the Box that sits flush with the back hatch. Oh nice that's awesome Maui blue is a fantastic looking color. The 88 Firebird I recently picked up under the black rattle can spray paint is Maui blue such a nice looking color👌🏻 how long have you had that Firebird for?

Yeah this is a really good car I picked up. I ended up purchasing the Camaro for $1,500 Canadian which works out to about $1100 usd. My plan for either this one or my 91 Firebird is to build and restore it and then drive it across Canada in the spring so that I'm able to help my younger brother paint his 87 Cutlass and also throw a big car show in my hometown of Pembroke Ontario at the same time. I think the rough distance would be about 2600 miles. To go from where I live in Alberta to Pembroke Ontario. It would definitely make for a great series. I would be redoing all the seat foam interior carpets new paint job exhaust rims and tires and try to keep each build in a lower bracket budget that's easily affordable for most people.

Hey thanks it's greatly appreciated. Right now I've currently got the 1980 Scottsdale in the garage that I recently did a Revival video on. I've got it pretty much torn down and ready to get the box off and start the metal work on it. Definitely looking forward to putting the Retro paint job back on the truck. Yeah I definitely like those colors that stand out and that are different the root beer candy and on this I think would be great. Someone sent me a tamco kandy brown suggestion that looks really good as well it's a little bit lighter than the root beer color but would look awesome with that Tan interior

Thanks, yeah, this one was in really good shape. I think the only thing I would do is replace the lower seat foam. That's all the seats need. Really comfortable seats in this car though

Same here I definitely cannot wait to get back to doing body work and paint on a project. Green and gold is such a good color combination. I painted a 1991 Caprice lowrider and a gold and Candy green color combination and it looked incredible when I was finished. Those color's go really well together. The greens really nice too because it stands out you definitely don't see too many of those ones around 👍🏻

My 1st was a 82 z28 350/T350 trans, it was blue with grey skirts, it rotted away😞, my second was a 88 sport coupe with a 305/700r4,all rattle can black indy 500 hood, i had 387,000 miles on it when the engine blew😞, these cars schooled me on how to improvise, best sitting position for bad back ppl too its like a beach chair.

Ahh that sucks that's what happend to my 83 Camaro I had in high school. Guy side swiped me too. Yeah that red is definitely an attention grabbing color Lora of people have left suggestions to go back to that color

Oh nice that sounds like great weather compared to out here lol. But I've seen some of the temperatures there in the summertime it definitely gets hot. Have to plan to take a trip down to Arizona sometime for a cruise I've never been to that area before it would make for a great road trip. Yeah I was thinking about doing that just before I posted on the truck series. That way I can kind of use that video as a poll to find out which car to paint after I'm finished up with the truck series either the 91 Firebird or that 83 Camaro. Thinking when I get back from the city I'm going to work on doing a quick video on the three of them. Before I post the first video on the truck series.

Yeah this Camaro is in fantastic shape. A lot of these that have been able to find are in pretty good shape with very minimal rust. Good thing for the dry climate we got out in this area in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Had this been in Ontario car she might have rusted in half already with all the salt down there haha. But this one's going to make for a solid project can't wait to tear into it.

I would really like to redo this Camaro or the 91 Firebird over the winter time and take one of those two. I don’t know how much the real estate prices are in Canada but many people sell their properties up north and buy houses cash down here because of the price difference. Oh nice California would be the place to be. Haven't been down to that area definitely have to take a road trip once I have one of these cars back on the road would definitely for a great time. Hey thanks thats much appreciated 👍🏻Oh yeah I try and get up to Princess Auto as often as I can when I'm down in the city either Calgary or Edmonton or lloydminster. Princess Auto is to go to shop. I'd be there every day if it wasn't 3 hours from me lol. I know when I lived in Calgary that's where I was pretty much all the time.

Yeah this was definitely a great find I ended up picking up this Camaro for $1500 Canadian which works out to be about $1,100 usd. Yeah that's definitely something to think about if I upgrade the motor definitely don't want the car twisting up lol. I was actually speaking with a guy in Edmonton recently and that's exactly what happened to his t top car when he upgraded to a 383 stroker.

I had 2 out of the 17 I bought and flipped
1991 Chevy Camaro Z-28 - 305 Tuned Port motor with T-tops/Auto trans .. Maui Blue in color .. I put 4th gen leather seats in it .. kept it all stock
1992 Pontiac Trans am GTA - 350 Tuned Port engine/Auto trans - Coupe model - Dark Green in color with Tan leather interior
My 1st Pontiac Trans am was a 1976 that was Silver with Black leather interior/Auto trans with a 400 ci engine ... I got it in 1981after coming back from Germany to Ft Hood .. I traded a Pioneer Silver faced Stereo system with Bose 901 speakers to a Car Dealership (owner) for it
Best 4th Gen I found was a 1996 WS6 Pontiac Trans am Ram Air in Michigan I bought for $800 .. it needed a new exhaust system & radiator .. I brought it back to Illinois after repairs were done with 96.000 original miles and listed it on Craigslist/Autotrader at 9am and sold it for $7500 by 1pm that same day ... Keep the faith going with the 3rd gen Camaro/Firebirds you buy.

Dark Forest Green would be really nice on these specially if it had those gold insert Iroc rims on it would look really good. Definitely don't see too many of these third gen in a darker green. It would definitely stand out and look pretty nice. Nice how long have you had your 83 camaro?

Awesome thanks I greatly appreciate that 👍🏻 what part of Canada? I will definitely have a bunch of 3rd gen content coming out along with other f-body Camaros and Firebirds Trans Ams as well. Once I'm finished up the 1980 Scottsdale. Dark Charcoal Metallic would look great on that car. I knew a guy back in high school who had an 85 in that color combination looks really good. Haha exactly Zed 28 lol that's what I've always called it lol

Yeah I'm pretty sure I'll be going back with the Red and the silver on this Camaro and adding the Z28 graphics stripes too. Small block 400 would make for a nice touch in this car 👍🏻
