One of my favorite details in this music video is the transition with Victor and Gloria as you can briefly see their jersey number, which is 227. 227 can also be put as a date, in which translates to February 27. Feb. 27 is Pokemon Day. A brilliant touch for this love letter to the franchise's 20+ years.

Words can't describe how much I wish Bones was setting up to animate its own Pokemon series right now. That video was glorious with a great song.

Bump of Chicken also did a really good song called Karma, the OP for one of my fave games, Tales of the Abyss! So I was really excited hearing the announcement they would be doing this song!

I'm 21 and Pokemon Gold was my first Pokemon game that I ever played and I played Blue after that. Pokemon at that point became a huge part of my childhood and this music video just putting everything together was just a beautiful sight to behold. I watched it at least 5 times now and I still tear it watching it more. Even if the games don't have a lot of the stuff we want all the time and there's improvements to be made, there's no doubt that this series has brought more kids and people together than most games out there. Thank you Pokemon

Did anyone else get a little emotional...heart gold was my first game and I was a super dumb kid and didn’t know how to progress through Kanto at all so it took me a long time to get to red so that fight means a lot to me and when they showed gold vs red I got real emotional
