Always ask yourself did you try it a 1000 times? 10 times are rookie numbers. If everyone gave up after the 10th time, we wouldn't have accomplished anything. Keep strong, you have to be insanely lucky or just insane to succeed. If you dont have the patience or the attitude, dont start one, you will never make it with that attitude. I have a friend who built a multi million dollar company and he was the dumbest out of all of us. Keep trying.
It actually has nothing to do with wishing. Go build a skill set. I usually see people struggling like this when they haven't tried anything and good at nothing because of it. Trying 10 ideas and failing LOL bro I tried over 400 times before I made some sort of success. Stop comparing yourself with your parents. They worked hard and had their own problems. It's time to pull up your pants like a real boy and build a skill set. I would suggest trying learning programming. We are headed there for sure.

Musicians and actors/actresses have been saying this same thing every generation. If it was really that hard they could go back to being a broke nobody. The public is fickle, stop making albums for a year and they won't remember your name. Hell I forgot the artists name by the end of this comment, he's already a nobody. If he keeps going he could be big, but as of now if you ask anyone who he is the likely response will be "Wasn't he in NWA?" It doesn't feel "deep" or "emotional" it feels like a humblebrag. He literally says he needs space followed by, "ferrari i'm buying three". Its about as deep as a $20 kids pool at Walmart, and about as original as Oreos. The scene was well done, and the song is still good. I just feel that its played out at this point. I get it, having $3 million in the bank, tons of women, a nice house, and material things is rough.
