Must say, loved the attack patterns of the characters, interesting idea this pokemon mixed with genshin and the characters are very creative and beautiful
I keep seeing comments saying how the monetization is gonna be extremely generous because the dev team made Azur Lane... look, Azur Lane did have a generous gacha, but that was thanks to the fact that they were able to make bank through selling crapton of skimpy skins. With a 3d game like this, pumping out skins like Azur Lane is not feasible. I do believe that the game won't have the degenerate constellation bait like Genshin does, but don't expect to pull every single units as a f2p in this game.
Based take. Unfortunately the char menu doesn't seem to have a skins button. Sure it might be added at a later time, but it means skins will not be part of the monetisation plan, with the only alternative... the pulls. A shame, it's a side of AL I always praised.
Keep in mind the L2D skins already cost the company quite a bit to develop. I'd estimate between 5k-8k from my own experience. I really want to assume 3D skins may have a similar cost, also from my own experience. Primarily because the 3D model already exists, you are just creating clothes, and the tools in 3D are actually a lot more efficient than 2D. I'd also assume they're probably going to use in house 3D artists instead of well known contractors like they do for L2D
@ViJt-oq5nq Of course, speaking strictly in terms of money, the skins themselves might not cost too much to develop. However you mentioned it yourself, they have to rely on in-house 3d modelers to create the skins. They are able to outsource the work for creating skins in Azur Lane, which means they can have as many skins in production as they want in a particular time period but by only relying on employees, you don't get that sort of flexibility.
@@mikimir97 True, but I do think there's still trade offs. Primary one being artist availability and turn around time. Some characters at the moment don't get updates simply because the artist isn't available :( The other is even if you can have many in production, with 2D these are hand drawn illustrations, there can be a wait time of months to get the final product. With 3D I would expect a new skin taking 1-2 weeks. There are sooo many efficiency short cuts you have that's not available to 2D. And yes, less clothing the faster the turn around for 3D lol. I would expect them to still use contracted 2D artists here and there to create concepts for new characters, but concepts don't need to be fully rendered and polished.
@ViJt-oq5nq in the end, the splashart of the 3d skins are 2d arts as well, adding to the production strain no? Look, all I'm saying is that we prob won't see extremely diverse line of skins like Azur Lane does (OL, racing girls, bunny girls, concert dress, etc.) Ofc they would release crapton of swimsuit skins, Azur Lane makes a lot of money during summer after all. If I'm wrong, so be it. I still don't believe gacha will be as generous as Azur Lane though.
So the UI for combat only appears when initiating a combat, and I guess the UI for exploration might have a different function.. I guess reason they design it like that is to compensate for the limited button can be use for Playstation/Controller users.
for the combat, my one worry so far is that with how many numbers are on the screen from multiple enemies getting hit and being in triple to quad digit numbers, that it ends up having a problem i experienced with Honkai Impact 3rd where the damage numbers feel hard to gauge if your doing a lot or not, might not be an issue with the combo counter and total damage counter in the corner but i wonder what other people think i imagine having a lot of numbers on screen is one of the things dev use to abuse dopamine in players since players like seeing a lot of big numbers although i fear it has the potential to become a mess to understand for some people
The animation looks smooth, also the pokemon feature is really exciting to try out, but having just female characters and kids is kinda....guess I'm not in the "targeted audience" category lol Still, looking forward to it, maybe there will be an interesting plot and cool game mechanics
Hmm, interesting. Looks very clean, the combat looks very flashy, but I'm not sure how good the system actually is. Hard to tell. I can't say I'm a fan of the focus on pets. But I've just never been into Pokemon so it may just not be my thing. The world looks stunning! But the general atmosphere looks a little too light hearted for my taste. Wuthering Waves might be more my speed. Overall this looks quite promising and I hope it does well. It just likely isn't going to be my cup of tea.

feels like Palworld and Granblue Fantasy Relink with fast-paced combat gameplay and a lot of Waifus, I am looking forward to this game
Now, for me, this game is the most anticipated among all, among this genre. I sincerely hope that this game will be quite different from its counterparts. I'm really looking forward to this game.
Wuthering wave: prepare for trouble!
Azur promilia: and make it double!
Genshin : [chuckles] i'm in danger
Yes, but actually no
Best of luck to all three games. Here's hoping this creates for healthy competition over getting relaxed due to monopoly of one.

Wuthering Waves.
Даже сейчас можно найти себе во что можно скоротать минутку другую, молчу уж что будет через пару лет
Some characters at the moment don't get updates simply because the artist isn't available :(
The other is even if you can have many in production, with 2D these are hand drawn illustrations, there can be a wait time of months to get the final product.
Genshin Impact + Pokémon = Azur Promilia.
Looks gorgeous, I really hope it does well with openworld music too cuz exploration seems super fun
The graphics are So clean ITS SO PRETTY WHAT
So the UI for combat only appears when initiating a combat, and I guess the UI for exploration might have a different function.. I guess reason they design it like that is to compensate for the limited button can be use for Playstation/Controller users.
for the combat, my one worry so far is that with how many numbers are on the screen from multiple enemies getting hit and being in triple to quad digit numbers, that it ends up having a problem i experienced with Honkai Impact 3rd where the damage numbers feel hard to gauge if your doing a lot or not, might not be an issue with the combo counter and total damage counter in the corner but i wonder what other people think
i imagine having a lot of numbers on screen is one of the things dev use to abuse dopamine in players since players like seeing a lot of big numbers although i fear it has the potential to become a mess to understand for some people
Easy fix is turn off those number. Some hack and slash game have that in settings
Genshins open world with a tales JRPG combat system, thrown in with a palworld/pokemon pet system. Azur lane really do be COOKING with this one.
This reminds me of the first Ni no Kuni game as well, I’m so excited
The animation looks smooth, also the pokemon feature is really exciting to try out, but having just female characters and kids is kinda....guess I'm not in the "targeted audience" category lol
Still, looking forward to it, maybe there will be an interesting plot and cool game mechanics
Game according to KRplus: Genshin Impact
😂😂😂😂 lmao
when you upload you pick the game, I don't think it auto assigns anything.
Looks great hope its a global release.
This came out of nowhere, looks like a great casual game, hope for it's successful launch
I just hope they won't make it really troublesome just to strengthening 1 character........ --a
Hmm, interesting.
Ill definitely check this game out i like the way you can interact with the creatures and explore and some elements look unique
This looks very interesting, the world and designs are beautiful and teh gameplay seems fun as heck. I got a question tho, is there actually a player main character? I didnt really see one, but I do prefer to be able to create or at least pick my character.
I read there's 1 male MC u control. u can customize him tho.
なかなか期待が持てそうなゲーム。
原神以外にアニメ調オープンワールドはあんまりだったんだが悪くなさそうだぞ
so basically Palshinmon
The real Genshin kill3r is here. better character designs and animations, fluid gameplay and especially mounts to travel around.
Nah, better character design? Did we play the same game? Plus there is a 90% chance genshins gonna have it's own mount system for the fire dragons in natlan which was leaked by a reliable leaker who gets almost like everything correct, genshins combat animations are getting better, y'all keep saying "real genshin killer" genshin is it's own killer tbh, genshin has many things better than this game, the only thing the game is missing is better rewards and end game content
Never ever call amy game are killer x , the only game project that was actualy the real other x killer game project on record was Cod4:MW and that game was out in 2007.
finally another utopia-themed open world game. I hope the actual gameplay as smooth as the demo
The graphics are amazing characters are cute, combat is good, and there seems to be interesting mechanics and maybe story?!?! IM SO EXCITED!!!
Oh lord this one is definitely going to take my money for sure holy shit it's so good!😍👏👏
This will be the Palworld Genshinish Killah!
It looks cool! I’m excited to have another game to destress with.

This just made my day. So far it looks awesome, it definetly looks like it could be a really good alternative to Genshin and WuWa
POG!! New Genshin Killer!!!
P.S. AzureVerse when?
Dream game. Love everything about it so far. Assuming this aint a bait, got my support 1000%. No male characters in a game like this is ballsy af but hilarious. Farming, building, etc systems are chefs kiss and hoping theyre implemented well.
Hands down this might be my dream game, it got everything I like, waifus, collectible monsters (that follows u and mountable, CRAZY), beautiful open world, even that spiderman anime gacha doesnt hold a candle, the only thing that can ruin is if the gacha aspect is too aggressive.
I really really hope that the only gacha here is for character banner. Though it's better to keep our expectation low.
Its not gonna be big as Genshin, HsR, or WuWa because its a waifu game.
Hopefully they keep it similar to Azur Lane, which is incredibly generous.
and I thought wuthering waves combat looks good, but holyshit this came out of nowhere and powercreep that
people say this just because of flashy animation.
Yes, it's worth choosing this instead of WW... but only if there are no anime boys there. Because if they are there, then WW will be better, because if there are anime boys here and there, then there is no difference, and WW looks like a better and more serious game than this children's trash.
But the absence of anime boys changes everything, because anime boys ruin everything.
@@angmar87 don't be toxic and calling this a game trash simply because of it's artstyle.
You're giving WW players a bad name.
@@lazycat4331 Of course, this game will be better if there are no anime boys, because then all the efforts of the developers will be aimed at girls and sooner or later they will release truly worthwhile and brilliant heroines.
But if there are anime boys in this game...then this one won't even stand a chance against Genshin and Wutherning Waves and will therefore be destroyed.

Pretty awesome it's being created by the azur lane company is what's pretty exciting! Cuz you know they don't sugarcoat their designs whatsoever! AND THE FACT IT HAS FLYING!! Already the best in the open world genre!
It's such an incredible trailer full of promises. I hope they will implement multiplayer in the game. I'm waiting for this kind of banger since an eternity.
Tushan Zhishuang better be the best character during release cause I want her and she looks a lot like Shinano from Azur Lane!
Wow, looks very promising! Unlike Wuthering Waves which I found very stiff and too much similarities with Genshin, Azur Promilia looks stunning. The soundtracks on both WuWa and Azur Promilia are somewhat plain though (just my personal taste). I started to play Genshin through their soundtracks that got me immersed into it.
When the game looks amazing but it's a waifu simulator so you know there's never going to be a dude in the game

Trust me, sometimes it is better if it is like that, for the company too tho
I respect their decision 🫡
So it's a yuri game?
Good. Keeps a bunch of crowds out of the game.
When I saw the announcement trailer, I had no clue what this game might be about. But... you give me a cute blonde archer, a bird companion, action-rpg gameplay and a vast, colorful world?
Yeah, I'm sold. Take my money!
I am interested in trying this just because it's coming from Manju
Man, this game look cool. This type of games I like where you have a companion you can ride to run or fly.
Things need to know
1- how big map is
2- is it free to play like gacha games or not
3- does this game have elemental reactions?
4- what platforms this game will be coming too
1- seems big enough for an alpha
2 - 99% sure it is
3 - i hope it does not.
4 - PC, PS5 , iOs and Android.
This is pleasure to see. Soyny should learn from this studio how to make female characters.
Especially like this one 5:32
Epic Battle Fantasy vibes are strong here
Looks too good to be true : o

I'm okay with it. Anxious to play already

it looks cute. What's funny though is that Genshin Impact is the game being featured and linked to underneath the video description, instead of AP.
I think it's because AP are not yet registered in KRplus, same thing happened to WW before

Cryo Keqing with a side of Vergil moves, strong contender for me as well
P.s. AND a haircut of Yuuka from Blue Archive, that's really nice

Depends on what you look for in a gacha game. Some ppl even complain if there's no elemental reaction, like if it should be the norm to have the same mechanic as GI (no jk). WW is more about parry/dodge/hard bosses. This game seems more like Palworld in some aspects, but im surprised you can dodge here too.

Looks like a new Genshin Impact: single character swapping out with other party members, open-world exploration, item collection, action RPG... looks really pretty. That you have a flying dragon for an airship will save time when traversing the continent.
And each character had some sort of joined combo with their summon.

character swapping with in HI3 which came out before Genshin Impact, the combat in this even is very similar to Genshin, 3 characters, QTE and fast paced.
