Why do producers get weird about showing their 808 patterns? Genuinely just want to know, producer for XO tour lif3 showed so what's the deal with it
They want to preserve the 1% authenticity they have left.
If they show it everybody gonna use it or make something exactly line this it wont be unique anymore
Cause they know this is probably going to be their biggest song ever.
cause its there "thing" its what they bring to the table. thats why people buy beats of THEM cause nobody else can do it but if they leak it everyone gonna do it and now they are just another producer
Beat Bodega your hating ass is mad that you won’t produce a number 1 hit like them.
To all my producer fellas out there, theyr'e right, the reverse 808 shown at around 5:00 is incredibly simple. Since they didn't show how to do it for some dumb petty reason here's a step by step:
1. In your piano roll place a slide note of your desired length right before the actual 808 note that it's
reversing to (make sure its the same pitch)
2. Place a note anywhere on your piano roll (preferably right under the slide note, just make sure they are the
same length) and turn that notes velocity down all the way. Basically what this is doing is sliding from low
velocity to high velocity.
3. Lastly, drag the note with 0 velocity right onto the slide note so that they're on the same pitch and position
in the piano roll. Now all that's happening is that its sliding the velocity and not the pitch, which we
perceive as a reverse
Producers should help other producers ya know?

@@MeloFloww thanks man just tryna help out

@@pizzagotburnt2183 your welcome cat
5:06 you can see the reverse 808 is made by adding small individual 808s and then making the velocity rise with every new one, they probably cut off the attack from the 808 aswell.
