Disappointing result, but good that havertz, werner and gnabry were on target, they are all quality attacking players. I think Havertz works best as the 10/CAM Werner as CF and Gnabry as a winger, or both up top. Yet again the defense was shaky and conceded too much, though this Swiss team is strong. Overall, the performances need to improve, can't be settling for draws. I think it's time for Low to move on as coach

Yeah they won 8-0 against Estonia. But that was also the last game sane and gnabry played together for Germany. After that sane got injured and last time when sane was called gnabry got rested. And now sane is injured again.
In Euro 2008 Germany played trash football the whole tournament under Löw, except for one game, vs Portugal where his assistant, Flick took over.

You know Germany has seen better days when as a Swiss fan I thought "Damn, we only tied Germany, we could've won," for both of the Nations League encounters. In the past I would've been overjoyed being able to tie Germany.
Switzerland once again gave away points due to some critical unforced errors. They're going to have to really shine in the last 2 games if they want to avoid relegation. And Germany is gonna have to improve if Löw wants to keep his job.

Yes, Kimmich plays better as a midfielder than a full back. However, we have so many talents in the midfield, but have only mediocre players as RB, so Kimmich should fill the void to strengthen our whole team. For example, Kimmich is 95 as CM but 90 as RB, meanwhile, we have Gundogan and Goretzka who are 90 as CM, but only have some 80-rating RBs. So why not put Kimmich at the RB ???
Kroos-Goretzka is a suitable double pivot at the midfield, just like Goretzka pairing with Thiago in Bayern. There is no problem for them both offensive and defensive. However, if you want more security, especially we conceded so much in recent games, playing 3 CBs is not bad at all. With Gnarby-Werner-Sane all three who can start together, there is no doubt that we could score some goals.
For the substitute, Brandt is a good option when we are behind--only when we are behind. Brandt still has to learn since he give away too much balls cheaply. Rudiger is good at tackling, but his positioning had caused us many troubles....We need not pay so much risk on him. Sule and Ginter is both more solid than Rudiger.
Werner scores everywhere except the premier league.
