      I guess you're coming from a multicultural countries like US? One thing you should note is that not all countries are multicultural. In most asian countries, no matter how long you've been living there, if you're not the same "race" as them, you're technically always considered a foreigner. Even if you were legally born there, people will still see you differently. It's not racist, we're just homogenous.

      @@gregorysmithsonian yes! I am from the US. I definitely don't think it's wrong. It's just different. I just thought the concept of the video is strange, because it's not amazing for someone to speak well just because they're a different ethnicity if they too have been immersed in the same culture and surroundings as you for 20 years. If I go up to a Korean American or Korean expat that has grown up here and ask how they speak English so well they might punch me in the face LOL 🤣 😂

But people are acting surprised that he can speak well, which is not surprising because ethnicity does not dictate whether you can learn something. He lived there for most of his life. So it should be expected that one would speak well the language of the country where they live most of their life. That's what I find interesting.

      I know people who are born in Korea and lived their whole life their, but are considered foreigner because they are not ethnic Koreans. I am born in Korea, but we moved when I was 3 years old. I speak basically 3 words of Korean, I don't even identify myself as Korean, but in Korea I would be considered Korean. It is not only Korea though that has that attitude. Zafar's Korean sounded too perfect because as a Bangladeshi myself our language has quite unique way of pronouncing each word. We have letters that have their each individual identity they don't get lost into other letters and sentences aren't that complicated (Korean grammer structure and Bangla Grammer structure are quite the same) words that are way more complicated to pronounce (sometimes) mostly to say we have letters that many languages doesn'ts have like Hangul "ㄹ" "ㄷ" "ㅂ/ㅍ" mostly these letters that hangul replaces in ours aren't the same. we have each L or R and D or T or Th and B or P Scientifically speaking with each pronunciation our mouth, vocal chord, tongue touches every way to make any *sound* possible and Bangla and Hindi are quite same they are really similar our most difference is Hindi (A pronunciation is our O pronunciation) there are more ofc . Tbh it's a beautiful language (I'm not being biased lemao it's literally the 5th placed language of the international) if you look into it ite easier. And of anyone having native language as Bangla it's easier to learn any language for them In comparison to other ppl whose native language is not that ( by saying that I'm not insulting or disrespecting other languages it's just i have experience over this 😃💙) at this point i bragged a lot about my language but ofc i don't know about all other beautiful language this world has all of them has different philosophy i love them all with all respects

    Isn't she supposed to find out by their pronunciation? The questions about origins should be avoided and the lies created confusion for no reason.

      Because Bangla has a lot of sound which is particularly useful for pronouncing korean sound as far as I can tell. That goes the same for most of the asian and western language for bengali speakers. May be some particular african languages and mandarin would be difficult for Bangla speakers but still they would learn it fairly easily compared to other language speakers I presume because of our language structure and sound.

    Zafar has been living in Korea almost all his life. He's practically Korean. Plus, he's just so beautiful 😍
    EDIT: I'd like to be more concise and clear that I meant by culture and traditions "Korean", not ethnically he is "Korean". Some people read things in such a literal manner that I'll just give the benefit of the doubt that they're not native English speakers lol That's why I typed "practically", which means he is almost "Korean", in many ways, but obviously not in the sense of ethnicity(which should be completely obvious if you have working pair of eyes). Some people need to improve their reading comprehension ffs 🙄

My ethnicity which is based on your gene or dna doesn't change from living in Korea. Hence I won't be a korean. Citizens of a country doesn't mean they are ethnically same as the native people. How does your bangledeshi dna change in any shape or form. Almost all countries have people with similar features that shows from which part of the Asia they are from. You can't change that. Ethnicity isn't something you can change as you wish

    • @alistairt7544
      @alistairt7544 2 년 전 +22

      @@allansherin9565 You do know that Korean goes either *Nationality* or *Ethnicity* ?? I meant Korean as a nationality, not ethnically-speaking. There are mixed Koreans, Japanese-Koreans, Chinese-Koreans, etc. If someone from Tibet, grew up and has lived most of their life in France, they're practically French in a sense that they have adapted French culture and customs, but yes, ethnically Tibetan. And if they have the paperwork for it, then they're *legally* French, on top of that.
      Sure, Korea is still mostly ethnically Korean, but what I meant was that he is now "practically" Korean in terms of adapting the culture, language, and customs of Korea as a country, not Korean as an ethnicity. And I said, "practically", I never said he IS Korean. Practically means, "almost", "virtually". He is still ethnically from one of the groups from Pakistan(either Punjab, Sindhi, Pashtun, Balochi, Urdu, etc.), and we don't know specifically cause there's no such thing as ethnically "Pakistani", since they have a diverse population.
      So in other words, I meant by nationality and culture, hence why I said "practically', and NOT by ethnicity. Goodness gracious lol
