1.) Wheels on the Bus
"Nurses office" is about how "Mental Health" is considered less than physical health so Crybaby has to fake illnesses to get out of school because she isn't mentally healthy, and "Show and Tell" is about how fans will treat a celebrity as nothing more than a puppet on strings. The fans want the celebrity to always be happy, always be perfect, and the second something happens and the celebrity looks uset the fans get mad, or when the celebrity sets a boundary and doesn't give into the fans' every demand the fans get mad.

I noticed something in the principal song: she's blatantly calling out how principals and teachers will say "we're here for you" when most don't care and just want their paycheck.
It's not even hinted at, it's crystal clear af.

yeah. teachers suck. Like, they can be actors if you think about it. Act so sympathetic but its all fake most of the time. Like I get that they just don't get paid enough to deal with our bs but that doesn't mean they just get to ignore and push aside our issues and concerns. They just teach and go home. Guidance councilors, too. They're shit most of the time.

This is honestly better than the PORTALS album. I dunno if it's the sole purpose of K-12 being more relatable to me, but this is forever my favorite album.
I like k-12 and I respect your opinion, but portals are in my opinion is the best album
I still say Crybaby is the best of the three. Itโs iconic and never gets old every song feels relatable

Ive been a fan of melanie since the voice, she has grown SO MUCH over the years. Im so glad she has found her new happy place in her album. Im actually going to the trilogy tour this upcoming june! Super excited, ive heard she will be preforming without her mask!
The fact that there are still comments from a day ago, an hour ago, prove that this playlist is just amazing being posted a year ago.
Melanie Martinez's music to me isn't a phase. It's a lifestyle. I didn't choose this lifestyle...it chose me. And I'm pretty fucking happy about that. Her music brings peace and joy to my brain and heart (see the pun I did there)
She make's me feel so happy, and she makes other's happy too. I'm so glad I discovered her and her music. I don't think my life would be the same without her in it. Thank you Melanie Martinez for bringing joy to my otherwise stressful and tedious life.
