She also played Amara and Tatia (only for a short time tho). And she had to play different versions of the characters like “human Elena”, “vampire Elena”, “no humanity Elena”, “Elena pretending to be Katherine”, “Katherine”, “Katherine pretending to be Elena”, “human Katherine”,… She is sooooo talented because we always knew which version or which character she was playing. This is some serious talent and I really hope, she gets the recognition she deserves!

tvd was the BEST role she ever got. playing elena and katherine and the other doppelgängers really showed how talented she was. she made each character, even though they looked exactly the same, seem completely different through her acting. she REALLY needs to play in more sci-fi shows. maybe a realistic apocalyptic show? she would play the lead character perfectly. she knows how to create suspense
Don’t forget Amara and Tatia, I feel like every character she played in TVD was amazing. I totally agree that she should do some sci-fi stuff.

She’s so talented and deserves real roles! Idk if the roles she’s auditioning for are exactly for her or the casting directors aren’t realizing it but I can imagine her in real drama sometimes romantic type movies. The rom coms she’s been in lately are cool but not at her full potential. Like in perks of being a wallflower they could’ve expanded her character in the final edit but they cut out all the important scenes that included her. So annoying.
I remember watching The Vampire Diaries when it first premiered in September of 2009, I though "Who is this gorgeous girl?" She made the role of Elena and Katherine so iconic, what a wonderful actress, I will always be a fan.

@@okami6241 I think there’s a lesson to be learned here: be happy with what you have! I think there are exceptions but anytime people do plastic surgery to their eyes it ends up looking bad. Other examples are Renee Zellweger and Ariana Grande.
Nose job and jawline/chin are whatever but don’t touch your eyes! Also cheek implants and cheek fillers make people look freaky and plastic. Ex: Madonna and Khloe Kardashian

i'm literally watching love hard right now, missed seeing her act although i think her capabilities as an actress surpasses a netflix christmas movie. i feel like her route is a more mainstream/lifestyle actress but she was so great in tvd, she could really be a serious actress if that's what she wanted. her face was always good for the degrassi/cw teen type of shows but she actually showed some pretty versatile acting. would love to see her in some more darker/complex roles. looking back tvd was actually a series i probably wouldn't have picked her in, knowing her now! anyways miss that time of my life, used to be/still obsessed with tvd
