- The 30th Anniversary Special is a musical revue show by Michael Jackson. It was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 7 and 10, 2001. In November 2001, CBS aired the two concerts as a two-hour special honoring Jackson's 30th year as a solo artist. The show was edited by combining footage of the two concerts into a whole special.
Note: The audio on half the show is removed, as well as this video does not include the ending performance of "You Rock My World" due to copyright reasons.

Im 62 years old, and run a wedding and DJ business on the weekends. Im sitting here watching the legend himself perform, and cannot tell you how much I miss this man and his live performances. Michael truly was a phenomenal performer, and knew how to entertain. I was just 8 years old when I Want You Back came out..i played it at least a hundred times over and over again on my 45 rpm record player, singing the words...Michael will always be the King of Pop. His music is always requested at wedding receptions, and people of all ages love to dance to his songs. I grew up with the man and his music..got to witness his creative talent and his brothers all who are also blessed...Im glad that this is archived for future generations to witness why our generation was so bad ass...Thank You Michael Jackson for your love and generosity..you truly are and still are one of a kind.

Watching Michael with his brothers took me back to the early 70’s when I was about 6 years old, listening to Jackson 5 albums on my little record player. “Dancing Machine” just blew my mind when I first heard it. (Mom, thanks for being so cool and buying this record for me). I grew up with Michael and I am so grateful to have experienced these moments with him in the world. Rest In Peace my Friend. 💐

I was born in 1960 and grew up watching and listening to him and his brothers and sisters .Michael evolved and set the highest standard possible for anyone who came after him. I’ve grown to appreciate him so much more and everyday it breaks my heart to know that he’s no longer here, but at the same time he’s getting some well deserved rest after working tirelessly for decades. I know he couldn’t sleep at nights so it’s a bittersweet feeling to know that he’s getting the sleep he’s sought after for so long

Very true even one of his closest friends who lives in London said that after his death was announced so many people in America came out and said they were his close friend but she's always wondered where these close friends were when Michael was taking drugs that he shouldn't have been taking or putting his trust and faith in a man who ultimately ended up killing him

It’s seven years ago Michael passed away, but wouldn’t it be awesome if one of his songs still could get a place in the global top 50 chart on Spotify? So to show the world that Michael Jackson forever is the greatest artist that will ever live, go on and listen to one of his greatest hits “Billie jean” once every day. If all of us fans stand together we can once again get Michael up where he belongs. I think it would mean the world to him. Show everyone he is gone but never forgotten.
