This analyis is 100% accurate - and the least tracking back is done by Messi..this puts a lot of pressure on others...secondly either PSG needs to be build around Messi like Argentina WC team or Messi needs to be used only for one half or less... You should do the same thing for Premier League clubs. No wins in the Champions League this year, including a disappointing draw for City vs Leipzig, and potential decline.

@@AbhishekYadav-rw5ev The problem is in Champions League Chelsea and Manchester City are facing Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and in Europa League Manchester United will face Sevilla and the winner will likely face Juventus. All of these teams are just European giants and I don't think they will win the competitions.

He is not mistaken. But the issue is that PSG has always had egotistical players. It seemed like there was always a battle over whether to take a penalty or a free kick. Examples include Zlatan vs. Beckham, Neymar vs. Cavani, Mbappe vs. Neymar, and Messi vs. everyone. This is the primary reason why the team is unbalanced. If you're looking for to take the UCL, you have to perform as a team. 😊

100% correct in fact its more obvious in French league they have problems when they play without ball, opposition gets in attacking area easily because trio Messi, Neymar and Mbappe dont play defense. I think PSG will be better when Neymar and Messi leaves and whole game were built around Mbappe like we saw in Real Madrid with Cristiano. But problem is where are good midfielders in PSG Verrati is probably only good midfielder that is the area where they are lacking quality. And I dont understand the politics of the club when you had good young prospects like Coman and Nkunku but let them slip. Buying Matuidi and whole bunch of players witch are destructive players not playmakers. Soler, Fabian, and Vitinha are good midfielders. Danilo is a good defensive midfielder. Renato is perfectly fine, and Zair-Emery is a great prospect.

PSg fan, I mostly agree, but Matuidi was actually a mentality monster and Motta was also good but most of the rest were bad signings. Leonardo as director from 2019 to 2021 did so much damage in three seasons that it'll take us years to get back to the situation of 2019-20 that got us to the UCL final. He sold Nkunku & Diaby for just 28m total, bought old guys who are terrible like Icardi, Gueye, Herrera, etc, and the worst of it all, increased the wage bill from being 242m (not top 3 in the world) to 430m by the time he left (easily the highest in the world), a 44% increase. I will never forgive that dude

That outstanding performance was helped by a lot of penalties and in the same time having very good keeper for penalties. This is not Qatar, there aren´t anymore gifted penalties. PSG fan here, long story short- Kylian, Campos, Galtier, all knew this was a rebuilding year to get the wage bill down from the ridiculous 430m that Leonardo made it with the failed 2021 window (the one that got all the hype). It's why we loaned/sold more than 20 players from the first team but only signed six (one of which was a done deal before Campos was hired, so basically five). Zizou was never going to come to PSG because he simply didn't want to, he loves Marseille in a way Galtier doesn't, despite them both being from there. Zizou was waiting for Deschamps to fail at the World Cup so he could take the France job but that backfired.
To answer the question at 5:38, the club needs to ask itself why the team always struggles despite constant changes in players, managers, directors, etc. The common denominator is QSI and it could not be more clear. The sooner the sportswashing Qataris leave our once humble and beautiful club, the sooner we can look to return to what we were in the 1990s that won us many trophies, a Cup Winner's Cup (now UEL), had George Weah win a Ballon D'Or at PSG & Milan, and played in a UCL semifinal despite spending nearly no money.
