One thing I will never understand about Kpop culture is that they call dating a scandal. Why is it though? Is loving bad or does it cause any harm to others? Nothing I want more than 2PM's happiness. If someday they find someone who they are in love with and want to marry, I hope they will do that and won't have to worry about fans' feelings.
Well i remember before kpop became a thing the whole entertainment system is just famous people being celebrities (which means normal people just think about them as famous people so it’s not a problem for those celebrities to date or even ruin their own life with drugs, we still feel very pity for them tho) meanwhile nowadays it is all about celebrities equal to idols (like someone worthy enough for normal people to admire, copy or even worse is worship) so they have to be perfect to fit into that flawless standards. Just see how young people worship those stupid trendy artists and their narrow songs nowadays to see how widely this kind of mindset spread. They act like a bunch of maniacs in a cult worshiping and comparing how advanced their idols are with fame and money and always ready to throw rocks at anybody talk down about their idols. There’s no logical thinking when it comes to idols anymore, not only in Korea but the West as well. I wish it could just stop at having fun everytime looking at your favourite person being on screen and support their talent and hardworking because you want them to be happy doing what they live for.
I think it is called scandal when Idols are called dating when they are not supposed to. Some people can't date for 5 years after their debut and sometimes get caught dating especially in those years when they are not allowed by contract.

I really really don't get why idols can't date as they please. Contracts with company is understandable, because if they were distracted with their love lives, it may affect their work. But even after idols have comfortably been established and known, it is still a norm to hide who they're dating. It is still a taboo. I just feel bad for them is all.
