Popular opinion: You will only learn to appreciate IU and her songs once you dive into the lyrics and understand the words she is trying to convey to the listeners, people who say her songs are slow/boring and sound the same just don't bother to try to understand her and the efforts she put into each and every song lyrics she writes.
I was her fan since debut, but actually even though her songs nowadays has so much meaning in them I still think it's just her amazing voice that captures me. The lyrics is just a plus! :)
