I miss the social experience and interaction between other shoppers and salespeople. There’s no creativity displayed, no mood or personality in the store, just a warehouse box of cheap quality merchandise.
There are sales people in the store

@@laurataylornyc9 an era where equally as bad products were higher priced because of salespersons wage... a sales person who more often than not wanted nothing to do with the consumer and/or the consumer just wanted to shop in peace. good riddance
@@chadchadderton Clearly we are not talking about the same era. I remember a time when people took pride in their work. I could walk into either a five and dime store like Woolworth’s or an high end store like Saks Fifth Avenue and be well attended by a salesperson who knew where everything was on every shelf.
