My father has a new brother because of 23 and me. They look almost identical! We welcomed Uncle Leo with open arms and he has become such an important part of our family!❤

I had that happen to me! My sister grew up 30 minutes from me and I had no idea. We even went to the same hair salon and her sons( my 2 nephews) worked at the same company as me but in a different department.

@@babasolaosikoya5947 long story, my oldest sister told my brother and I once we were adults that my mom gave up a child for adoption in the 60’s. My mother never spoke of it. She passed away a long time ago. I researched online about 7 years ago and someone my mom knew gave us a possible name and I searched for a while and found her on Facebook! She wanted to meet so we did and she grew up 20 minutes from me and like I said, we both went to the same hair salon for curly hair which is a fairly hidden place in a different town. Then she tells me she has sons that work at this corporation for a couple years and it is the same company I have worked at for over 20 years and I had passed my nephews in the employee lunch room daily and never knew. Her my brother and I are full siblings and we get along great with her. Heartbreaking that my mom kept this inside and only my oldest sister knew. The reason is even more heartbreaking but she did get raised in a good home and has no resentment.
And we all did the dna on ancestry and met a lot of my dads family in Ohio and California. It’s been interesting.

It happened to us too! My uncle was discovered on 23 and me!. And he lives 30 minutes away from me! We are so grateful to have found him and have him in our lives❤

My husband just found his real dad and found out he had a sister. He got to meet them for the first time a couple months ago, They all had a blast. Sadly his real dad was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. :( .

Pretty sure they planned it. They were already speaking regularly by video call up until they met. Otherwise it was the show telling them what to wear. Their sandals are almost identical lol

Imagine meeting your sister for the 1st time, holding and looking to eachother for 20 seconds, and than answering all these questions. Wouldn't you like to spend the first time together? Or did the girls knew they would benefit from the interview with a free holiday? Which makes me wonder if this was really their 1st meeting.
They’ve been chatting all the time on FaceTime and getting to know each other. This is just the first time in person.

Probably not but they will keep in touch. Which is more than my sisters whom were raised with me, do with me. I rarely hear from them.
