I feel like he is on the spectrum with add and adhd people. My garage is a mess and looks like a landfill to my family. But I guarantee I cal tell you that the screw for the lawnmower in the back yard that holds on the plastic cover is under the left rear tire of my jaguar and has been there for 6 months now. Or how I have sandpaper that fell behind the work bench a year ago that’s 1000 grit. Or he’ll even where I dropped a 10 mm socket by my back fence and it’s still sitting there after 2 years. We never forget anything. Especially if it’s something we handled last. I cannot tell you where anything is tho after my mom comes by and “cleans” up the house while she visits. Lmao I have lost more stuff to her moving something 6 inches than to my kids that touch everything. Atleast my kids have only 4 hiding spots and I can guarantee you will find anything you lost in those places. Yea it makes no sense to others that are normal. But that’s the beauty of having adhd. Everything looks like a tornado came through but we know where it all is at. (Not saying everything in the house is a mess. Just the zones that I personally claim as only mine.) everything else is clean and looks like a hotel room. 😂

Make an electric crosskart "trike" with a battery pack in the back (over track), but have it on a swing arm, so that it works like a servo, making it so you don't have to tilt/ lean while turning, and able to control it while doing a wheelie!
This proof of concept can start a new wave of snow machines, since electric snowmobiles as is sucks hard and is anything but premium.

    • @goontheracoon
      @goontheracoon 개월 전 +2

@@Todd_Gerhardt Let me clear things up.. it's a snowmobile, but picture a crosskart trike, the battery can lean from side to side as to shifts the center of mass, it also offset driver weight up front 2, using the battery weight as a feature, and not a flaw like EVERY electric machine ever.
it would be MUCH safer during avalanches, and you'd be able to climb RLY well in it.

I see that gives you 6,000-W and an amp rating of 30 amps. If you use the lathe, air compressor, or welder, all separately and not at once, then you should be fine. But you'd benefit from the double setup they have, giving you 12,000-W, or the battery expansions like you said.
We thought we were ok here, and didn't need a backup generator. Then the power went out for 31 hours a few weeks ago. The next day we ordered a 22-KW Generac Guardian generator with the automatic transfer panel. It runs off of natural gas or propane. The entire generator with the transfer panel, shipped to the door was about $6500. And then another $700 in parts for the conduit and wire. We wired it ourselves, and it's big enough to run our entire place (including 2 HVAC systems and a boiler) and were able to hook up our neighbor's house also, since they don't have AC, there's not much of an amp draw there. In any power outage though, we just don't run the electric dryer, and likely could go a couple days just hanging laundry.

Oh yea it is so nice to have an alt power source. We have a 24 k Generac on natural gas so when the power goes out our place is like 1 of 2 in our big neighborhood that has the juice. Its great peace of mind. Love your builds guys big fan here. Tim

100% need to build an RC vehicle with those tracks on all four corners!!! Be about 1/5-1/4 scale and would be amazing. You already have the motors, just need heavy duty 1/4 scale servos to steer. Watch some of Kevin Talbot's Raminator videos and he shows great servos for the best deals that could handle that kind of load.

Be careful! I think you should first plug the orange plug and then the blue connector to the wall.
The blue has insulated connectors. If the wall is live (happen to have forgot one fuse on), the orange plug could have dedly live prongs exposed.
    Cool things you are making

you should make the bottom smooth like a sled and make the tracks retractable so you can use it like a downhill sled with tracks that can take you back up the hill.

I just had a thought. One go-cart, 4wd, suspension and tracks. As long as it's not too fast it could make a little racing tracked vehicle. 😁

You should put two tracks on either rear tire and put a outer guide to keep both tracks on actually inner guide and outer guide welded on the outside of either side.
And put wheels on the front they will still turn in the snow similar to skis.
And I've seen at the drag strips where they put solid rubber on the tracks instead of grooved

  • @BreakOutOfTheAlgorithm

I used two 12 inch speed squares (carpenter tool) to attach two ski tips about a foot long to my downhill mt bike to ride the snow. The hypotenuse faces forward and the tail end of ski is exactly where the wheel is designed to hit the ground. If the back of the ski extends back beyond the line drawn through your head tube to the ground it ruins what the geometry of the vehicle was designed for. I lucked into this knowledge, but it's for real. On my Wheelski (Patent search confirms my design is fit for utility patent in 1998 for unique pivot. Acts like knees of the skier) I could shred the slopes
You guys need to hear my testimony. LOL Seriously though, I was riding ski slopes on my DH bike at Woodbury Connecticut on weekdays and Plattekill in Roxbury New York on the weekends. I could ride with no hands it was so stable and I could make turns so sharp I could touch the bars to the snow, but Plattekill is super steep at like 40 degrees so maybe that accounts for the crazy turning
anyway, love your projects and love watching fun
