The part when she was calling her mom really got me. I'm actually from Germany, so I could understand what she said and I think, in her situation, I would say the exact same thing. Such a strong mom and such a caring husband & father!

It's very hard for new mums who live away from parents and relatives and have to depend just on their husband for childcare and after birth care. For both my kids I had to deal with it on my own and it was very very hard. The first time it was due to some personal reasons no one could come here in the UK and the second time it was the pandemic. Thankfully my husband really helped me and took the best care possible but still it's very very difficult, and can take longer to heal mentally and physically without help of loved ones there. I feel for all those have to do it alone and may not even have their partners or husbands with them.

The two weeks after the birth of care is definitely something that isn’t available in America and would be too expensive unless rich. But usually family members or church members bring food over the first week so you don’t have to cook. But I can see it being helpful especially while healing. Do husbands come and spend time learning about baby care or spend time with their wives during the two weeks? Or can they spend the night? Congrats on your new precious baby! I think most of us don’t understand till older how long it takes to heal and the process after birth.

So sweet, right? Me coming from latam this is the first time I hear about those two weeks, usually women spend that time at home with mother or sister.
America is the worst in any kinda medical care for it to be a first world country. Most jobs only give women 2 weeks of maternity leave which is not nearly enough time and even get away with not paying them anything if they don't have PTO saved up.
And these billion dollar bussiness continue to get away with this nosense because they sponsor our pathetic 2 party system.
Also the republican has managed to convince many rural poor white ppl that this kinda stuff is okay & basic medical care & rational policies that make your citizens lives a bit easier is a "handout".
When I heard her talking about the two weeks after care I was like. Wait that’s a thing? Never heard of it in the USA. Shocking but true.
The days before I was born my mother had to continue working and the day after I was born she had to return to work or else she would get fired

I’m sure his parents taught him very well how to be a loving, caring man. A lot of parents simply neglect that aspect when having sons, sadly. Or it could be his natural nature too. All I know yes, it’s rare to see that in men so openly. A lot are just neglectful or jerks.

Привет из Беларуси. Живу очень далеко от вас, за тысячи километров, в городе Бресте. Это на границе с Польшей. Но глядя на ваши теплые, душевные видео, мне кажется,что вы совсем рядом,и эти тысячи километров совсем не чувствуются.
А ещё ваши видео мне помогают изучать корейский язык. Он мне очень нравится. Надеюсь,что когда-то смогу заговорить на корейском. Очень хочу приехать в Корею,когда выучу язык, и посмотреть мюзикл с Ким Джун Су в главной роли. Он так поет,что всю душу переворачивает. Какие же корейцы талантливые!
